If you've been looking for an ephedra-free fat burner, you may have come across LipoZyne, one of the latest formulas on the market. LipoZyne diet pills are made with natural stimulants and diuretic herbs; the product is available on eBay and auction sites, and has not been marketed heavily on the web.

Still, it's becoming a top seller online, promising results that many other thermogenics and diet pills have failed to achieve. You can find LipoZyne for under $20 per bottle from some vendors, but is this fat burner worth it? A closer look at the ingredients and potential side effects may prove otherwise:

Key Ingredients in LipoZyne

LipoZyne is made with the following key ingredients:

• Gymnema sylvestris

• Sarsaparilla Root

• Yerba Mate blend

LipoZyne is herb based, and does not contain dangerous stimulants such as ephedra or bitter orange extract. It is designed to reduce the appetite and provide a boost of energy, and the key ingredients in this product can create a thermogenic effect.

Gymnema sylvestris is a plant extract that has been used in Ayurvedic medicine to correct blood sugar problems. It is included in the LipoZyne formula to inhibit sugar absorption and essentially acts as a sugar blocking agent. This extract may be helpful for dieters who have difficult avoiding sugary foods.

Sarsaprilla root is a natural energy booster, and may also influence hormone production. This herbal extract is commonly found in many herbal diet supplements on the market, but tracking down a supplement with a ‘pure' extract can be challenging.

Yerba Mate in particular is a powerful herbal stimulant, and can generate heat in the body. While there is no proof that generating heat will burn hundreds of extra calories, the stimulant can reduce the appetite and make it easier to diet. The proprietary complex in LipoZyne also contains Vitamin A, C, E and a Vitamin B complex which can provide an extra nutrient boost for any diet deficient in these vitamins. Yerba Mate also contain chlorophyll, iron and calcium which can support a healthy diet. Still, this stimulant is not without its side effects. Some people may experience bouts of insomnia, agitation, irritability, and anxiety after taking stimulants such as yerba mate.

How LipoZyne Works

Dieters taking LipoZyne need to take at least three pills per day - one at each meal - to feel a difference. Weight loss will vary by individual, but the makers of LipoZyne claim that anyone can achieve a ‘shredded look' very quickly, especially if the product is combined with a steady exercise program. LipoZyne is designed to be a natural fat burner and appetite suppressant.

Still, LipoZyne has not been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration as a safe product for weight loss, although it has approved each ingredient found in LipoZyne. The pills are relatively new on the market; there is not enough research available to suggest LipoZyne is an effective supplement for weight loss, and some people may experience adverse effects or an allergic reaction to the herbal ingredients in these pills.
