Liposculpture: Laser and Vaser Procedures
65Liposculpture is one of the most current popular forms of sculpting your body surgically. This procedure has recently become popular in the United States. It is the newest way for people to change and sculpt their bodies. There are many options for those who want to shape and contour their body. The different options include liposuction, laser liposuction, and vaser liposcultping. Each option has its own procedure, areas targeted and healing times.
Traditional Liposuction
The traditional form of sculpturing your body is liposuction. This is also the most common form of liposculpture. This method is safe and effective but it is also a surgical procedure done millions of times. The FDA has approved liposuction as a safe method of the cosmetic removal of fat. Since this procedure is surgical it takes longer to heal from the surgery, normally three to fourteen days and the patient can expect some pain as well. Full recovery can take as long as two to four weeks following this procedure.
Vaser Liposculpture
Vaser liposculpture has been recently developed and is also new to the procedures of body contouring. This procedure consists of the use of ultrasonic sound waves that break down the fatty tissue. This procedure looks very promising in removing and reducing unwanted body fat from the body. The advantages of this procedure are that fat is permanently removed, there is less bleeding and bruising and there is also a quick recovery time after the procedure.
Laser Liposuction
Laser Liposuction is one of the more recent forms of Liposculpture for the removal of unwanted fat. With this procedure laser technology is used rather than the patient being cut open surgically. A small incision is made and the laser is then inserted into the fatty tissue and only targeted are the fatty areas which are then permanently removed. The advantage to this form of liposuction is that it has a much quicker recovery time, it is more efficient in the removal of fat which means less bleeding and bruising as a result of the procedure. The fat is permanently removed as well.
For those who want to reduce their unwanted body fat and sculpt their body so it looks like the body of their youth liposculpture is a cosmetic procedure that is gaining popularity. With technology there are less invasive forms of the procedure that removed the unwanted fatty tissue and require less pain and healing time. You can have the body you want without having surgery.
