List Building And Traffic Generation

Let me tell you a story that starts a year ago. I’d like to tell you the about two co-workers, friends, and IT professionals who worked for a Fortune 1000 corporation. The two men were very much alike in many ways. Both were typical mid-level employees, both were industrious, hardworking, and college graduates. • Investigate hot niche markets

• Do research to find high paying keywords

• Find a hot product in that niche on ClickBank.com, CJ.com, or PayDotCom.com

• Send their prospects to the salesletter

• Collect affiliate commissions

Once a lucrative niche was identified and they were consistently making sales the men would eventually replace the affiliate product with one of their own. This would allow them to make 100% of the profits.

Each man setup his business individually. However, the differed slightly in their strategy. On man decided that “The Money is In the List”, and the other decided that “Traffic was King”.

After 6 months of one man focusing on Traffic, and the other focusing on building a List, neither man was closer to quitting his job.

You see setting up a squeeze page is a great idea, but if you have little or no traffic to the squeeze page then you will not be able to build a list to sell too. You will miss out on many, many sales as a result.

On the other hand if you have lots of traffic, but you don’t take the time to capture leads you will not only lose the opportunity to make repeat sales, but you will lose many opportunities to make the initial sale too. Everyone may not buy the first time.

By coincidence one of the two men stumbled upon ListAndTraffic and realized that what the two needed was to use both strategies. Not only did they need to push as much traffic as possible to their websites, but they also needed to capture names and email addresses as well.
