List Your Item For Free On EBay

Over the last few years eBay became known as feeBay due to their high insertion, and final value fees. Many people left as a result because they simply weren’t making the money they used to. My guess is that e-Bay didn’t like that too much and now is making some improvements and lowering their prices.

They have gone so far as to allow up to five free auction-style, single-quantity listings every thirty days for anyone or any item. This includes Real Estate, Motors, and all other categories.

These five free listings will be the first 5 listings within that 30 day period and they have to be in auction-style, and you have to use the ‘Sell Your Item’ form. This means you can’t use any tools such as the ‘Selling Manager’, ‘Turbolister’ or any other program available to list your item.

If your item sells you will of course be charged a final value fee, but if the item doesn’t sell, you have absolutely nothing to loose. Now how good is that?

If you have never sold anything on e-Bay, or online, this is the perfect way to get started. Or if you previously left because the prices were too high, why not give them another chance? Like I said you have nothing to loose and everything to gain.

These changes began to take place on June 16, 2009. This is not a promotional deal and is here to stay…at least for the next little while.

At first I thought yeah right…as soon as they have their sellers back they’ll up the price again. But then I started thinking that a few years ago, eBay didn’t have the strong competitors that they do today, so basically they could do what they wanted then. But today eBay has too many competitors, and if they want to stay on top they have to keep their prices low.

EBay has made some mistakes in the past…and we all do, and we learn from them, and I believe e-Bay has as well. They are trying to make things right and make it fair to everyone who is trying to make some money online.

If you’ve never sold on e-Bay, you can sign up here. It’s free and you have nothing to loose!
