Yahoo has done it and now YouTube will be joining in, so why not you too. Whenever new or more accessible technology is made available "First come, First serve" comes to mind. Although live streaming isn't new with Yahoo and YouTube jumping in the game it makes streaming accessible to all. Even if you're not tech savvy, providers like Yahoo and YouTube make things just a click away. So how does streaming video add value?

Blogging is one way to get your message across to the masses, but wait - blogging, videos, instant chat, and live streaming is like steak to hamburgers. The stats suggest that over 50 million Americans are using broadband and demanding a complete web experience. So, give it to them!

Okay, I heard the critic in the back say - what's the different between video and streaming video. Answer, live streaming video along with instant chat gives you an opportunity to communicate as if you were face to face "adding a personal touch", which is overlooked sometimes on the web. Do you like it when you call for service and you get "press 1"? Some how talking to a live person just feels better.

Adding that personal touch with streaming videos will also increase your traffic. Just imagine, you host a live steaming video chat with your visitors once a week - Do you think that every week these visitors will return? Yes, and with friends (if the topic is good). How often do you return to a forum? Well, live streaming video with chat is a forum on steroids.
