Happy Earth Day!

It seems that most of the human population is FINALLY wanting to live healthier and become better people. Well, all I have to say is, "It's about damn time"! I feel sorry for those who are not on the band wagon yet. Hopefully, they wake up before it's too late. If we are going to keep this planet revolving then we all need to work together.

We have taken the earth for granted for so long and now it's finally caught up to us. There are so many ways to help save our planet and ourselves. The smallest thing from recycling minor items you would usually toss in a trash can such as the lids of fast food restaurant cups, lottery scratch off tickets, and junk mail. If you look they are marked for recycling! More jobs are created for recycling than waste companies!

How about using good ol' fashion vinegar, baking soda, and/or salt to clean your home rather than all those harsh chemicals? Try a Google Search on homemade cleaning.

As for the whole become a better you...spend more quality time with those you love, check out books and movies from the local library (I'm reading "The Intention Experiment, Using your thoughts to change your life and the world" by Lynne McTaggart), take a walk rather than driving to the local store, park, etc. Eat healthier. Maybe try eating more whole grains, fruit, vegetables, even some oatmeal for examples. You will be helping yourself and the environment.

The long term goal here is that we literally Clean Up our act and teach our children to do the same in turn will continue the healthy way to live!

God Bless Us All!

As quickly as Earth Day came it seems to have passed. I witnessed a lot of people participating in Earth Day events for the day but today it has become irrelevant to most already. My theory is atleast two days out of the month should be Earth Day. (Until people fianlly "get it" that the earth is something we should care about)
