Living With Depression

When you have situations in your life that happens and you have no control over them, you seem to fall into a depression. Getting out of the depression is very difficult. I live with depression everyday and It is so hard to function in life, when you are always looking at the negative instead of the positive. I do need to seek help, but when you have no money it is impossible.

The Bible says, "Money is the root of all evil." That is so true, but if you have no money you will struggle in this life. There are always people worse off than you, no matter what your situation is and that is what I keep telling myself. I do think alot about suicide, but then I think of my kids and my husband and then I think it's a bad idea. You do go to Hell if you commit suicide, so always remember that.

Depression is something you can get treatment for and most people do. Don't let it control your life and take over your soul. I write poems and journals to get my feeling out, because I feel I can not tell anyone how I truely feel. It does help, but it is no cure. I always feel so alone, like no one really cares about me. I always feel people don't like me and I never feel accepted with anyone. I am truely a misfit in society, people are mean and cruel no matter where you go.

Your past is what determines your future. You will live with the ghosts of your past, if you can not over come and move on with your life. Depression is a weight that you carry through your whole life and it will eventually destroy your spirit.

I am always depressed about something. Don't be like me. Get help if you feel bad all the time, don't worry about what others think, you might need a "happy pill."

I have a brother that battles depression. He expresses many of your thoughts. I wish I knew how to influence him to help himself...We can take him to doctors and get him medication, but we can't get him to follow through on treatments.

Hello! I suppose we share similar thought patterns to an extent. There is always a deep-rooted reason for every sort of depression. Knowing what it is is the first step to removing it. Try to get a solution for it, if there be one. Otherwise, the next important thing to do is to come to terms with it.

Further, you may visit my hub, "A Sure Cure for Depression". The approach I have adopted to assuage my tormented feelings has worked wonderfully for me. I would like to know how you feel about it.
