LocalAdLink is Going to Replace the Phonebook

Advertise Locally With LocalAdLink
A new company is emerging that claims to bring inexpensive advertising to local business through online services. LocalAdLink has teamed up with popular online search engines and social networking sites so that their advertising dollar would stretch further.
Currently when a person wants to look up a local businesses phone number or address....they google it. The businesses that have done the right kind of online advertising would be the first to come up on the search page. Therefore, the first to get the call from the customer.
LocalAdLink is now going to be able to help those businesses that have not been able to make an online presence. Even if they have made that presence with a website, the only way anyone finds it is by typing in the exact website address. So much time and money goes into search engine optimizations and many businesses, especially small ones, do not take the time or spend the money to do it effectively.
LocalAdLinks can change that for a small amount of money per month. Often times the monthly payment for a phonebook ad can amount to $200-$500 dollars with many of the big companies spending much more than that.
How effective is the phonebook anymore?
The phonebook is becoming less effective each year. According to most people, they have traded their big, old phone book in to strictly search online. Businesses have found that the cost of print ads keep going up while the return rates keep going down. A large percent of people even read the newspaper online and have chosen not to order the physical newspaper! Think about television....DVRs have taken over and watching commercials is becoming a thing of the past.
People are already searching online for businesses and LocalAdLink can make it even simplier for small buinsess to become visible to their local area. LocalAdLink is the cheapest and fastest way to advertise online.

I'm looking forward to knowing more about this
Great hub, Jennifer. I rarely use the phone book. I look up people online and get directions to their house as well. Especially useful for businesses.
Thanks everyone. You will be hearing more about this everywhere...
My cupbord is full of phone books that rarely if ever get used. Seems I get three or four new ones twice a year. Thsy are cumbersome and I'd rather use the internet so Localadlink seems to be the way to go. I am hoping to get invoved with this sometime in the near future.
very true
