How many times have we heard location location myself many times?

Only in hindsight, do we learn some of the simple rules in life, which are for some of us so hard to learn.  It took nearly 30 years for myself before I started to pay attention to this simple rule one might ask why so hard?

More likely than not, by nature, one can easily be led to believe that bigger is better.  A few times I have opted for the larger apartment in the not so nice area.  Or cheaper, if it's cheaper, and does the same thing.  Why pay more?

When I was a lot younger and needed a butcher shop.  I had no idea, it was cheap, close to other shops, and empty, that should've raised a flag.  Not only was it empty.  It had been empty for a long time, after I signed the lease and moved in.  I slowly learnt why it had been empty even though it was close to other shops.  It was on the wrong side of the street.  Very rarely, would you see people walking by location; location was to be its downfall.

A few years later, when I was not so young and decided that my own restaurant was the way to go rather than working for others I made the same fatal mistake not only did I pick the wrong side of the street I picked the wrong area an area where people work in the day.  But no one would go at night quickly.  The restaurant was full at lunch at night, though.  I'd wait and wait and wait again; Location Location was to be its downfall.

The stupidest mistake I ever made was to move from a very small apartment in a very nice neighborhood to a much larger apartment in an area somewhat okay I thought I had won the lottery.  My rent had gone up by about 10% and an increase of around 100% in living space.  Little did I know location location was the reason that it was so cheap.  If you've ever lived in a place where you can hear every noise.  Your neighbors make each foot step they take; you will understand the mistake I made.

Fast-forward 30 years.  It was time to move again luckily, I was in no rush, and had a vivid idea of exactly what I wanted.  It took time, but each time I would look at a place those memories would come flooding back and a little voice would say location, location.
