The current of yesterday rolled before
me anew
A fresh beginning for me and you
Beauty abounds as my heart flutters
with delight
A new day had dawned with you once
again in my life
The fresh sweeping of innocense
whispered in my ear
That love was alright with you so near
To my heart, my soul so clear,
as the aspen glow of the rockies appear
A great ocean apart, yet we loved without fear
For an opportunity arose for me to relocate so near
You seemed so astounded, glowing with delight
It seemed a miricle, it felt so right
You showered me with love and proposals everynight
Once I had a date...the reality to seemed your first fright
The promises of love, a new life of we
Became ..."let's date and see"
My connection with reality was soon to disappear
I drank from the river to numb pangs of despair
Though low and behold my path had been drawn
You were the first to see upon my arrival at dawn
Passionately eclipsing as no time had been lost
Though found myself unable to share my love;
locked at all cost
My heart is heavy, my life anew
I moved to the land of Druids thinking
I'd be with you
Now I'm here, settling, centering... awstruck
with the sights
Have not heard from you, unless you count the
text in the middle of the night
It made me wonder, giggle with delight
Here in a foreign place, without you, may be better
as I form a new pace
My heart is open...being,feeling,affirming
a new space
I know now, my love was not for you
It was the image created of you to be true
Now I see... eyes wide open
This journey was to find my peace by the ocean.
Thank you for guiding my heart.

Oh yes I know... I do have many other interests that you do not yet know! Though, it's funny how much more comforatable I feel without any hair! LOL
I have a sneaking feeling that you may dabble in a little painting, too - I could not blame you with the striking scenery in that part of the world.
Know what you mean about the hair - very hot here today, and long hair can be uncomfortable. Still, in my case, nature is taking its course as I get older :(

Oh, that pic..I think I will add it to this poem. I think is was a bit depessing for many to look at and I prefer to reflect more vibrance :) I am nearly settled..just waiting for visa approval :) Then will be home free..yippee!!

You know, I bet you are right about that! :) I am just wondering if the butterflies with get more aroused in my chakra core... I am trying to land or at least glide in joy of this amazing feeling...It is lovely and profound, yet sometimes it breads frustration to not tame the buzz! :)
embrace the moment. Move forward, but just look behind to see how far you have come..... get a book out there man can't you. Just keep moving forward and don't stand still.
