This is a top quality universal remote that is run off lithium batteries and sits in a charging dock. It's very easy to use and is user friendly. This is not a piece of junk that you might typically find at your local Wal-Mart. The fact that the 880 is so user friendly is what makes this universal remote so popular. The LCD screen on the Harmony 880 is very easy to see and is brightly lit. You can set the LCD screen to your favorite items which allows one touch control. One touch control is very popular.

Once you do that, you will set up different activities. For example, you want to watch a DVD, it will ask you about your TV settings. It will ask you if you use an amplifier for the sound or if the sound comes from the TV. After you do your settings, the Harmony 880 becomes a one touch control. You immediately get to use the device you set up.

The Logitech 880 Harmony website updates the remote also. It can even update an X-Box 360 if you set a button for it on the universal remote.
