This is a great device to have, especially if you have long distance relatives. You can easily stay in touch almost as if in person. You will notice that this webcam gives you amazing high-quality video calls. There is a Carl Zeiss lens system with Autofocus that keeps the pictures in sharp focus even when moving around.

Some extras you will appreciate are the RightLight 2 Technology, which corrects any lighting problems. You can record in HD creating 16x9 widescreen vidieos at a full 720-pixel. Also included with your webcam is the Logitech Vid, a fast, easy, free, one-click-to-call video calling software.

I have found the Logitech Webcam Pro worked well with all the major instant messaging applications, such as AOL, Windows Live Messenger and Yahoo. If you don't have a digital camera, then you will happy to find that this takes pretty decent still photos too. On the negative end, it does seem to have a few kinks when it comes to Windows Vista. The box says it is fully compatible, but I feel that there are a few bugs that still need to be worked out.
