Here we present extensive resources for understanding the concept of God in Hindu dharma.

The Hindu Trinity, forms of Gods and Goddesses, the Avatars of Lord Vishnu, the Devatas, Planet and Animal Deities are all presented with their image representation.

Venkateshwara (Venkateshwer or Venkatachalapathi) is another form of Lord Vishnu who is also very popular as a Hindu deity. He is also known as Balaji or Bithala.

He has a dark complexion and four hands. In his two upper hands he holds a discus (a symbol of power) and a conch s hell (a symbol of existence). With his lower hands extended downward he asks devotees to have faith and surrender to him for protection.

The ancient and sacred temple of Sri Venkateswara is located on the seventh peak Venkatachala of the Tirupathi Hill (Thirumala), which lies in the Andhra Pradesh State of India (South India). The temple of Sri Venkateswara has acquired unique sanctity in Indian religious lore. The Sastras, Puranas, Sthala Mahatyams and Alwar hymns unequivocally declare that, in the Kali Yuga, one can attain mukti, only by worshipping Venkata Nayaka or Sri Venkateswara.

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) maintains twelve temples and their sub-shrines in the Tirumala-Tirupati area. As more than fifty thousand pilgrims visit the Sri Venkateswara Temple every day, TTD has organised efficient systems to ensure the smooth movement of pilgrims. There are officers to look after the facilities in the Vaikuntam Queue Complex, regulate the queues and attend to complaints. The halls in the Queue Complex are clean, spacious and airy.TTD provides a wide range of facilities in the Queue Complex. TTD requests all visitors to preserve the sanctity of the Tirumala area.

Suggestions in the form of 'Dos and Don'ts' are displayed at various places in Tirupati and Tirumala. You are requested to get acquainted with them before you visit Tirumala. You can avail of TTD's package tours to visit the above temples.
