Losing weight may seem difficult, or near impossible these days. Global obesity is rising, there are food commercials everywhere and the choice of high fat foods seems unlimited. But help is at hand ;) With these lose weight tips you can easily make a difference in your daily diet and appearance. Its easy once you know how. You don't have to make major changes, just lots of small ones, they will add up :)
1# Use smaller plates
This way you will fool your brain into thinking that you have more food on your plate. If you put a certain amount of food onto a big plate it seems like you are getting less than if you were using a smaller one for the same amount of food.
2# Water is important
Drink 1 glass of water 20 minutes before a meal. This will make you feel more full once you get to actually eating, and make you more likely to eat less. Remember, even if you still have food on your plate, you don't have to east it all
3# Busy schedule
If you are on a tight schedule, you can prepare yourself some healthy food in advance. This way, when you get hungry you already have something prepared which will make you less likely to make a big meal.
4# Take your time
Take your time eating your food. Set down your fork in-between mouthfuls and chew. Enjoy what you are eating. Your stomach takes 20 minutes to tell your brain that you are full, make sure you give it this time
5# Be careful with fruit juice
Fruit juice gives you a rush of sugar in the same way that a candy bar does. Whilst the fruit juice is better for you because of the vitamins and minerals, it will still cause a rise in blood sugar which will likely be stored as fat. Try diluting it, or just sticking to plain water or health teas. Diluted fruit juice will give you some energy that you may need just before you are about to exercise
6# Go for a walk
Walking is a great starter exercise if you are not used to it. Try getting of the bus one stop early, or walking to work or school
