Louise Ogborn uncensored video released

Perhaps you’ve heard this one before. In april, 2004, a prank caller called a Kentuky McDonald’s posing as a police officer in order to get the manager to illegally strip search her employee. This incident has become known as "the Strip search prank call scam."

Prank Calls were David R. Stewart's past time. From 1995 to 2004, he placed dozens of calls pretending to be a police officer. He’d tell managers to give their employees a choice, either be strip searched then and there (to be acquitted of a perceived offence) or be hauled down to the station later. Most times he was successful in convincing his victims to take their clothes off.

Stewart’s dark hobby went almost unnoticed for years until one day his pranks went far beyond even his wildest expectations. His last call was to a Kentuky Mcdonald’s. He got a hold of the manager, Donna Summers, and said one of her employees had stolen a customer's purse. The manager then called in Louise Ogburn, the offending employee and ordered her to empty her pockets and, eventually, take off her clothes.

The process began to take longer than expected. The 'police officer' on the phone wanted more and the manager needed to get back to her job. So, a

fter being unable to get the other employees to help with the situation, (they were the smart ones) the manager called in her fiance, Walter Nix, to take care of Ogburn while she went back to managing the restaurant.

This is when things went sour. When Nix got there, he proceeded to do everything the ‘police officer’ on the phone told him to do. He ordered Ogburn to do naked jumping jacks, to sit naked in sexual suggestive poses while he examined her ‘cavaties.’ And from there, it went downhill. Per the caller’s requests, Nix then first began spanking the naked Ogburn and finally, most damning, forced her to kiss him, and then to perform oral sex on him.

Since that time, after a lengthy trial, Ogburn was awarded 6 million dollars in damages. Stewarts was acquitted on all charges (due to lack of evidence. No witnesses. Etc) Though, since his arrest, the prank calls have stopped. Something to think about. And Nix, who was only ‘following orders,’ got five years in prison for his obedience to the law.

It begs the question. How could a situation like this arise? Why would Ogburn comply to such ridiculous demands even from an authority figure? Does it make sense that a police officer would force you to do jumping jacks to prove your innocence?

And Nix, if he wasn’t just a borderline sexual deviant taking advantage of a situation, why would he go along with it?

Recently, there has been a new addition to this bizarre story. The uncensored security video of this has been found and partially leaked onto the internet. So far, all that’s been found is a four minute version showing Nix examining Ogburn’s genitals and ordering jumping jacks, but it won't be long before the full security video is found.

In the video, the evidence is clear and damning. In it, you can see Nix sitting, staring at Ogburns vagina and periodically placing the phone up close to it. What could they be saying at this point? At one point, the manager, (nix’s fiancée) walks in and we see Nix throw a towel over Ogburn (proving that he realises he's doing something wrong). Again, why would the manager permit this? Why could Ogburn not see how utterly ridiculous a situation that was? Then as the manager leaves, Ogburn is forced to resume her abuse and humiliation by performing jumping jacks. This is only four minutes and already it's pretty clear that this is not in any way a proper police investigation. 

The argument for authority, that people always do what they’re told, (as per the nazi regime) doesn’t seem to apply here, because so far as we can see, there’s no rationale whatsoever to rationalise the proving of innocence through oral sex.

But what about the video? Here we can see, crystal clear, the crime. And we've got half the internet frantically searching the entire web for more. Setting aside the ethics/legality of watching the abuse of this poor woman. What do you think fascinates so much with this story? from its first hearing of to the now leaked video, the public has been enraptured by it.

They say, "I would never do it." "It would never happen." "It's a scam to sue McDonald's." And yet, this stuff happens all the time. Psychology tests have proved again and again that people will hurt and be hurt if an authority figure tells them its okay. Are people such sheep?

Maybe we're all assholes who like to hear of horrible things happening to others, rather than us, a condition known as Shadenfruede. I don't know, but I have to admit, hearing this story made my jaw drop a little and made me want to learn more. And wonder how such a thing could happen in this world.
