Love deeply and passionately
72When you love do it deeply and passionately
I believe if you're going to do anything and want it to turn out right, you need to give it complete passion and conviction. It doesn't matter if it's a relationship, your work or career, a sport, anything you do, do it with depth and passion.
I've loved deeply and passionately in my life, many people and many things in the past, and although I got hurt, I feel still that it's the only way to live life completely.
There were times I held back how I really felt and hid behind whatever I could so that I would not expose myself, but I believe by doing that I ended up not receiving the full benefit of the relationship.
Lately my partner and I are realizing that our lives are very different and we're going in two different directions. This is frustrating for both of us because we truly, deeply and passionately love each other, but we've found that we have very little in common. I hate to think that I may not be a part of his life, or him in mine down the road, but it's hard when our lives and schedules are so very different lately. I know we both went into the relationship with open hearts, hoping that we'd have a forever relationship and be together as a couple forever.
We both love deeply and passionately and although it hurts at times when he says that I don't do anything with him and his young daughter and it bothers him, and it hurts me when I talk about the things and places I go to with my young adult kids and sisters, and the look on his face is so sad. Or when he says he wishes he could just pick up and go and do whatever he wanted and he can't. That makes me feel as though living my life which I have earned is wrong. Also our families don't practice the same religion which drives a deeper wedge into an already delicate set of circumstances because my family gets together and drinks and parties like it's New Years Eve for no reason other than we enjoy it. His can't with his family because of a religion and it's hard these days to connect.
With all these circumstances going on, I still feel very blessed to have met such a wonderful, loving, spiritual man and honored to have received his warm love and affection. Had we not both been open to deeply and passionately feeling something for another we would have missed the blessing meeting each other has brought us. We may both be hurting a bit about how things are going, but the only way to live a full life in love is to give it 100% completely no matter what.
I know for sure that I would do it all over again with him and if he reads this hub I want him to know I never loved as deeply or as passionately as I have with him.
So ladies and gentleman...Love deeply and passionately. You might get hurt, but it's the only way to live life completely.

No thanks G. You've made me a much better woman by loving me and showing me how to love. I need to thank you. SO thank you and I do love you deeply and passionately.
I know that kind of rule. We all create our life by our thought. But sometimes it's hard to believe that only being passionate on one side would lead to be loved passionately in turn as well. So thank you for your sharing story. It's very well told, and it lifts me up.
