Use Hair Products to maintain healthy long hair

The easiest thing to do with long, straight hair is to just brush it. After you take your morning shower, blow dry your hair and brush all the tangles out. (Don't air dry because this can often make your hair puffy and frizzy all day). Use some hairspray to keep your hair in place (light or medium hold, a maximum hold can often make your hair too stiff).

If you have lots of hair, I would strongly advise against putting it up in a ponytail because your hair will hurt when you let it back down. (Trust me, I know!) Ponytails are great ideas if you don't have as much hair.

Another good option for any type of hair is putting it into pigtails. Part in the middle and braid the two parts. Make sure you use hairspray to keep it in place. This way, your hair won't completely fall apart by the end of the day. (Sometimes those stupid little hairs can fall out, and hairspray will keep those in check!) Pigtails are easy, simple, and quick. You just need 5-10 minutes. It's also really cute on girls!

A tip for getting haircuts: layers! Layers look good on girls with longer hair. You can curl the shorter sections of hair towards your face, really framing it and making you look gorgeous!

If you have long wavy hair, work with your hair to enhance its look. You can add bounce and texture to curls using various hair products--including mousse, hairspray. You can also use curling irons to enhance your natural curls. After you get out of the shower, let your hair air dry and see what happens.

If you blow dry your hair, make sure that you don't over do it. If your hair gets too hot, the blow dryer can burn and fry your hair, so just be careful.

Happy grooming!
