Good nutrition increases the health of the whole body, not just the heart.

Cholesterol in foods comes from mostly meat, poultry, fish, and dairy. Plant foods do not contain cholesterol. Make sure to eat plenty of fruits, vegetables, whole grains and fish- all of which promote heart health. Avoid saturated and trans fats, which can raise cholesterol levels.
