Great Service, Amber at store #2594 was very helpful. She was outside with the Grills, I went inside gave them the number of the grill I wanted and when I returned (less than 5 minutes later) she had it ready and helped me load it on my truck. This was 9 A.M. on a Saturday morning !

I went to lowes store 06640-40608-24309 today to purchase a small (or so I thought) push mower. I was in a car, and figured I would be able to fit the box either into the trunk or the back seat. Was in a crappy mood anyway, it was a dismal, rainy day, and I arrived only to find out that the only mowers they had were already put together.
The gentleman working in the lawnmower department (I think his name was Jack) was fantastic!! He assured me that he could make the mower fit into my car, and spent about 10 minutes twisting it different ways until it finally worked!!
Most folks I know would have gotten frustrated, aggravated, etc, and started cussing and hollering because of what a pain in the rear end it was. Not "Jack"!! He was most patient, and even had me laughing hysterically by the time it was all over. Huge hats off to Jack and the Lowes on Valley Avenue in Roanoke, Virginia for having the good sense to hire him!! I am an even more loyal Lowes customer because of my experience with him!!
I am a new home owner who has been spending quite a bit of time at Loewes. Today , like many other Sundays I drove to Lowes to purchase supplies for the week. I found every thing I need with ease, as my friend and I approached the counter to check out the employee working the counter was rude and her commets were unacceptable .the whole experience left me visably shaken . this occured at 9701 east roosevelt Blvd. sales #S1848AG3....terminal1848.....the manager was called and handled the situation with professionalism.
I came in to purchase the Scotts lawn fertilizer. The staff did not have familiarity with which one was the current one to use.I think they were new on staff.Normally the staff is very helpful.
I tried to get my carpet restretched and called lowes in middletown ny. after a person came out and looked at my carpet I was contacted by someone from the store. The message was garbled and the only info i got was a phone number. I then called around 6-7 times with no response;either nobody picked up the phone or they didn't have any information about the job.i should call back. i went to the store twice and after asking to see an itemized estimate or a more complete job description, i gave up. the bill just said 3 rooms with furniture, carpet restretching. this does give me any info at all. first of all,the person looked at four rooms and a hallway.what parts of this job was he going to do?what is the estimated time to do this job? what is the hourly rate being charged? i don't think that it is unreasonable to expect more info on a bill that you are paying for upfront.it reminds me of the time i tried to get lowes to put up a dog run; i gave up after 3-4 weeks and hired someone else. this is the last time i try to get lowes to do any home improvement work for me.

Your store price scanners seem to get STUCK and I have been charged twice for only one item.. IS THIS HOW LOWE'S MAKES A PROFIT? This has happened 3 times in the last 15 days. Each time I have caught the mistake, returned to the register to get it corrected. A waste of my time and very frustrating to the people behind me in line. This last time the cashier told me that they have complained to management, but no one fixes the problem. So I would advise Lowe's customers to ALWAYS check their receipts to see if they are being overcharged.
I went to Lowes, store number 22320-40808-14293, to purchase a toilet and dishwasher. As we were waiting for a sales person, the store manager, Njaja Sims, came and assisted us. I picked out the toliet. He had it in stock and made sure that all the necessary parts were included. I stated that I also wanted to look at a dishwasher, he stated that the salesperson in the area would help me with that and he called her to do so. I stated that I also need other items,to repair the wall behind the toilet. He stated that he would help with all itmes needed. I gave him a list and ask that he and my granddaughter get the them while I picked out the dishwasher. He stated that he would be glad to and that he would help me put the items in my car. After the purchses, he and anothers gentleman help get the items in my small car. The other gentlemen also had to recut the sheet rock to fit. All of this was done in less that 45 minutes of my arriving in the store. I felt so special by the service that I received, from the manager, the dishwasher salesperson, the cashier and the other gentlemen who help, I did not get the others names unfortunately. I have gone to some stores and wandered around the isles looking for someone to help me and when I would corrner a salesperson they seem hurried or I sensed that I was interfering with their flow. Being a senior citizen this would be quite frustrating and I would be left wondering if Ihad gotten the right items that I was looking for. I was glad to see the patients and professionlism that these young people afforded me at Lowes. Thank you very much.

I wanted to make some home improvements and made the mistake of going to lowes to purchase some items. I purchased a garage door and paid for installation. Waited almost a month for installation, on the day it was to be installed the installer showed up without the motor and asked for me to go pick it up knowing that they would not release the motor to me even though I had already paid for it. Stood out there over an hour and a half waiting for someone to tell me who could tell me that I couldn't pick it up. Went from customer service to customer service, so I finnaly went back to my house and told the installer he needs to go pick it up. The installer leaves and lowes delivers the motor and then I'm waiting for the installer to return. He's already late to get to his next installation so he half put it up. Now the garage door is off it's hinges and I have been out ot lowes and spoke to the installers and it's been over a week and my garage door is still hanging off its hinges and I can't get in or out my garage and some of my things in the garge is getting wet. Whatever happen to customer service????????????

I am way over due this comment, But I contacted Lowes Corp about buying a chimania. I had a problem with the ash collector, it rusted and I had to throw it away. I contacted Lowes Corp, and they had a Lowes Mgr Mr Ross of the Milan Tennessee store call. I explained that I had purchased the Chiminia approx one year ago and the ash collector had rusted through. He not only sent me one but didn't charge me a thing. First I would like to thank Lowes Corp and but I really would like to thank Mr Ross(Milan , Tn Store) going above the call of duty in contacting me and sending me the ash collector and not charging me. I have been to three Lowes store to see if I could get a replacement light cover for my Harbor Breeze Fan. I am very frustrated with all of the Lowes stores as none could offer any advise on how to obtain a replacement.
At all three stores they said look on the shelf if we don't have we don't carry it.

I was at lowes today and purchased 885.00 tile etc and one of your employees was very helpful and actually pulled my order. When I got home the tile and trim did not match.now the fun begins Jtook back the tile and was not really satisfied with the help of getting the correct tile. I should have checked before I left no I should have been treated better on the return than I was, the three enployees in the tile department were not helpful and I really felt like they made fun of me for a mistake the other customer service young man made the mistake. I am tilimg three bathrooms and purchased tile for one and feel like I will not go bach and purchase materials for the other two...customer service was lousy Thank you

Today I tried to buy a Whirlpool oven at LOWE's on 17th street in Altoona Pa. The clerck told us that store had two in stock but because the distribution center didn't have any they couldn't sell us the ones they had because they couldn't do the paper work from the computer as stock on hand. I have had quit an experiance today. We had ordered our carpet and it was suppose to be installed today. The installers arrived at 8:30am and took out all the old carpet. My husband noticed some cracks in the fondation and wanted that fixed before they layed carpet over it. We called Lowes and they sent out a man to give us an estiment. $267.00 later they fixed the cracks and put some cement on some other part of the floor to make it even. Around 2:30 they told us that they were breaking for lunch. At 7:30 they called and said it would be one more hour !!! I called Lowes and told them that they better get someone out here right now to get this large roll of carpet out of our driveway before someone steals it. Lowes said they would call me back...they never did !!! At 9:30pm the installers showed back up...we told them to take everything back and we will deal with this problem at Lowes first thing tomorrow morning. Some time back We bought a BBQ grillware (TM) portable gas grill for our son. He used it very often until the burner burned out and made it inoperable. The rest of the grill is in very good shape. I've tried to locate the company who made it, but was unsuccessful. Since we bought the grill at Lowes, I thought you might be able to help me find a replacement burner. It is the shape of an elongated E with the gas orifices on the top and bottom legs. Please help us.
