Hot Lucy Clarkson and Prose

When I look back and see the road I came on

to reach this mountain peak

I see detours here and there, where I took the wrong fork, the dead-end trail, the dangerous path leading nowhere.

From up here, on the mountain top, I can see they were poor choices, but at the time they seemed likely roads to take.

From up here, I can see where I was going wrong, because from up here I can look back and see myself.
