The Duo Collection

Coffee. The beverage that keeps the world running. Many people can't start their day without it, and for an ever-growing number of people, a cup of joe is a great help or a downright necessity for getting through the day. With the rise in coffee consumption, there has also been an increase in specialty brews for those who need a change of pace from the normal office lounge coffeemaker. Sometimes it's fine to have your coffee out of a foam cup from McDonald's or Dunkin' Donuts, but other times you want to have an exotic Tanzanian dark roast with coffee beans grown on the side of Mount Kilimanjaro.

In times like this, the normal cup or coffee mug just doesn't seem fitting. That's where the Luigi Bormioli Duo line of coffee glasses come in. They provide an affordable option in glassware that is versatile enough to be used everyday and when you are having a fancy dinner party. The whole line shares some common features, but have their own unique designs. This way, they go together seamlessly, and everyone at your table can have a different drink, with its own suitable glass, and you can preserve your overall theme.

Practical: Most glasses are not suitable for coffee because they transfer too much heat to your hands. The Duo line features double-wall construction, which keeps the drink temperature separate from the outer temperature. This means no more sweating glasses from your cold drinks, or burnt hands from hot drinks. Throw your coasters away! The handles on these glasses are also very durable despite their thin appearance. You don't have to worry about them breaking off due to normal wear. Being dishwasher-safe is just a final touch to ease your cleanup and make these glasses a truly practical set for anyone.

Beautiful: The Duo line features a striking modern design. The inner chamber of each glass is a different, but complementary shape to the outer wall. Thus, when full, your beverage appears to be hovering in mid-air. Construction on the Italian-designed glasses is from blown-crystal, not the more common pressed glass. This creates a beautiful clear appearance. (The crystal is lead-free, so you can always drink safe!) Your time drinking can now feel like you are interacting with a piece of art.

Coffee

The Duo coffee glass is designed with a fairly straight outer wall, but a luxuriously curved inner wall. Each glass holds 10 ounces, which is a suitable size for your daily cup of coffee.

Espresso

The Duo Espresso glasses are designed with approximately the same shape as the Coffee glasses, but in a smaller 4 ounce variation. You can truly feel like you are drinking your coffee off a bar in Florence with these glasses, although they are slightly nicer than the china cups in most Italian bars.

Latte

The Latte glasses in this collection offer a wide, gently sloped design on both the inner and outer walls. The soft curves of the inner wall provide the perfect illusion of your drink being suspended over the table. These glasses provide a slightly larger 13 ounce capacity, perfect for when you really need a boost, or to fit in some extra whipped cream on top.

The Duo Collection from Luigi Bormioli provides a wonderful balance of form and function by creating glasses for all styles of coffee that appear to be works of art while providing practical benefits over basic cups or mugs. With the added benefit of being quite affordable, they provide a great way for anyone to add some elegance to their coffee enjoyment.

These glasses are also great for tea and other beverages. The Duo line also features several other styles of glassware, seen below, to provide for all of your entertaining needs.

Thanks! I thought so too. I always love ways to make my day seem a little bit nicer, without dropping a lot of money.

James,

Your hub is well done. I like how you placed the product next to the text. I also enjoyed the topic of coffee and the glassware that goes with it.
