Lush Bubble Bath Bars
72
I have always been a sucker for bubble bath. REAL bubble bath, I mean -- not that crap that barely fizzes up! Unfortunately, it's really quite hard to find something that really, really bubbles. Lush makes one of the few bubble baths that makes serious bubbles. And I do mean serious!
These are bubble bars (as opposed to bath bombs). They say 1 of the smaller bars is for 1 bath, and the larger ones are good for 2. I suppose that's true if you want bubbles out the wazoo -- but I have a very large bathtub and one of these lasts me for probably 6 or more baths.
You'll notice this stuff doesn't come in a bottle. So how do you use it? Turn the faucet on, break a piece off and crumble it under the running water. Voila, bubbles! It will also turn the water whatever color the bar was, so prepare for pretty pink water and lots of bubbles if that's what you've bought.
The Comforter
This is my FAVORITE of all the Lush bubble bars. This stuff smells so good, you have no idea. And it smells good all on its on; you could use it as an airfreshener if you wanted to! I place one in the bathroom and I can smell berries throughout the house. I love it. Love it!
I have pretty sensitive skin and I was a bit worried the first time I used it, particularly since the water turned so very pink -- but I assure you, it's quite mild. And ohmigod does this stuff make your skin soft. I use it with Bliss Body Butter and I am feeling like silk afterward. And don't worry, it won't color your skin pink!

Blue Skies & Fluffy White Clouds
I know, it's blue... but it's still lovely! The base is made from patchouli, so this would even please that crazy hippie aunt of yours! This one is slightly more expensive than the others, but it's also one of the bigger bars, so it will last longer.
Price: $10.95
Creamy Candy
Is it just me, or does this look like a giant piece of candy? Well-named, I'd say! This one is smaller than the others, but the vanilla scent will still fill the room. It's more mellow, for those who aren't into the whole frou-frou berry thing.

Ma Bar
I'm not entirely sure what the name means. It must be a pun on something, but I can't figure out what. Alls I think of when I read it is Ma Bell, and they surely aren't playing on that. Anyway. This lovely bit of bubble bar is listed as milk chocolate and toffee. I haven't tried it, personally, but it's on the list!

They smell good enough to eat, too! :)
I truly like Lush products and I also like the experience of being a buyer there. My favorite Lush shop is in Carnaby Street in London. Staff is so very polite there. They have so many products to choose from.
These look like taffy candy. Ha. Love the idea.
Ma Bar is great. It is one of my favorites. What about Karma? I love that one too!
I really wish I had a bigger tub because I would get to use my Lush stuff a lot more often.
These are always on my list for preferred Christmas Gifts. I love Karma one too. Nothing like a hot bath after a long day in the garden.
My favorite bath products, one of the few things I splurge on.
SS - I'll have to visit them. :)
Whitney - GIANT candy, though. They're about the size of your hand. :)
Embitca - I'm trying Ma Bar next! Karma I haven't tried, but i will. I lurve this stuff!
Minnies Mom - Me, too!
Marye - Mine, too!
These are sooooo cute. I think I'm gonna try the Ma Bar. But I won't use it when I have a sweet tooth. I might not be able to control myself. :-)
Ma Bar sounds like a pun on Mars Bar... Just a thought. :)
