Livin' Life on your own terms

This morning, Friday, I woke up at about 8:00am....when I was done sleeping.  I sauntered (I never use to "saunter" )  downstairs to the kitchen (oh yah, and I passed my office, on the way) and poured myself a cup of coffee.  I sat in my favorite chair, in front of the picture window looking out onto 30 acres of trees and wildlife....beautiful.  I opened my bible, and read a few chapters in Romans (love that book) and then spent some liesurely time chatting with my father (GOD).  What a great way to spend the day.  Then I fixed myself some breakfast and about 9:30, I made it upstairs to the schoolroom.  Graded some of my daughters schoolwork and then, at a little after ten, headed to the office....my commute took about 17 seconds.....whew, am I tired :O) .

Then, checked my numerous email accounts and responded to those that warranted attention.  Took a look at a few of my "accounts" and then.... SMILED BIG and thanked Jesus for breath and life.  This working from home and making a living from around the world with just the click of a mouse is nothing less than MIRACULOUS!!!

At about 11:30 I took off with my two daughters and headed south for my 12 year olds (Tessa) guitar lesson.  My 14 daughter, Rachel, and myself headed into downtown Grand Haven to the Great Harvest Bread Company for a free slice and picked up a loaf of delicious bread.  Then we headed over for a car wash, picked up Tessa and took them both to a homeschool session with about twelve other families.

After dropping off the girls, I headed over to see a client (you see, when I worked full-time, I was an outside sales guy in the credit card processing business) and picked up signed paperwork that will bless them with savings and bless my family with more residual income.  I still do some of this business but only when it comes to me (I still have a strong reputation in the area for being upfront and honest so referrals still come in).  Honestly, it's a lot more labor intensive than I really care for these days.  Working on-line from home is much more to my liking these days.  It certainly provides much more time freedom than the regular job ever did.

When i was done there, I cruised by the local home improvement store to look at stuff and pick up a few items for some projects that I am working on.  Man, I tell you, I just can't imagine how I use to get all the "have to" stuff done around home when I was working a regular job.  It seems like there is always something to do but at least now, I don't have to take valuable family time to accomplish these things.  I just do them liesurely at my own pace....how great is that?

Finally, pulled in around four or so, got the leaf blower out and started getting rid of some of the leaves that are covering the yard and driveway (it's fall here in the midwest and it's getting chilly).  Then, it was dinner time with the family and a glass of wine.  Came upstairs to my office and shot off an email to the owner of the house we're renting in Costa Rica for January and February.  Came on over here to Hub Pages and started working on this and here we are.  What a great day!

You know, most of my days are much like this.  They're very casual and my schedule is my own.  The benefits of being in business for yourself, especially from home, are endless.  I don't care who you are, what your education level is or where you are financially....you absolutely NEED TO EXPLORE INCOME MAKING OPPORTUNITIES ON THE INTERNET.  I've learned an awful lot over the years and will be sharing some with you here.  Follow my advice if you will, or, plot your own course but please, for you and your family, just DO IT!!!
