Beverly Park, located in California, is, in my opinion, one of the most luxurious neighborhoods in all of America. It consists of two regions: North Beverly Park and South Beverly Park. Right in the heart of Los Angeles, Beverly Park is “home” (haha, I call this 'hub humor') to extremely large homes, some up to and over 40,000 square feet! Due to its reputation and famous celebs residing in the area, it is a very private and gated community. North Beverly Park is about 6 times bigger than South Beverly Park, but all together, the region totals to a 250 acre piece of land. Beverly Park is snug between the famous streets of Sunset Blvd, Mulholland Dr, Coldwater Canyon Dr and Beverly Glen Blvd.

The History and the Homes

Established in 1990 by Brian Adler, it was originally going to be a golf course named after Dean Martin, a late comedian actor. Obviously, the plans for this never came through and instead was infested with massive mansions.

Now to the homes.  The homes are simply indescribeable.  More so that in their Owner's Manual, its states that no home shall be built in under 5,000 square feet.  Homes range in price from around 15 million to over 50 million.  Of August 2008, four homes were for sale; 2 of the homes in the 20 million, 1 in to 40 million and 1 in the 50 million. 

There has recently been a dispute between the North Beverly Park and the South Beverly Park about where people enter gates.  People, rich people, filthy rich people: its a gate!  You have more to worry about!

So where there are big homes, there are celebrities and wealthy people.  Here is a small list of people who reside or used to reside in the Beverly Park area and a little bit about them and there house.

Avi Arad - CEO of Toy Biz, credited with all animated cartoons made in 1990's

Barry Bonds - Baseball player. His estate includes a 5 car garage, pool and basketball court.

Jami Gertz - actress. Her beautiful colonial mansion includes a 4 car with tennis court and pool.

Faith Hill - country music star, married to Tim McGraw. Estate valued at 6.2 million and is for sale!

Rod Stewart - singer

Sumner Redstone - wealthy businessman. Bought his mansion from Rocky (SS), little more than 15,000 sq. feet and purchased it for 14.5 million.

Denzel Washington - awarded actor
