Sometimes you just aren't in the mood for yachting but are still craving an adventure at sea. You can visit the folks at U.S. Submarines where they sell luxury submarines. You can choose from the 4-passenger Discovery 1000 up to the Phoenix 1000 which is "the ultimate personal transportation device" with 5000 square feet spread out over 4 levels. The Phoenix is capable of a trans-Atlantic crossing and travels at a speed of up to 16 knots

U.S. Submarines will provide training to you and your crew to man the sub or as the owner you can make use of the pilots and crew they have on staff. No special licenses are required to pilot a submarine if the trips taken are for pleasure not profit.

The Seattle 1000 is"36-meters (118 ft.) in length and is the submarine equivalent of a luxury yacht with spacious staterooms on two decks" it is quoted on the site for US $19.7 million and it would take 2 years to construct. As the submarine is commissioned and construction does not begin until you order, there is flexibility in how the living quarters are built (to a certain extent).

As the Fearless Yachts' websitesays, this boat is made for the "Aquabahn." The Fearless Yacht 28 comes equipped with a 550Hp Dodge Viper V10 motor (as an upgrade) which will have you zipping along the surface of the water at 80 MPH (or 70 knots).

But this isn't the only model that will be available as Fearless & Porsche will launch more models in 2008 (a 44 and super luxury 68 foot yacht). If you want even more luxury you will have to wait until 2009 for the Fearless 125 to be available for purchase or the Fearless 150 which is scheduled to be for sale in 2010.
