Bleeding love is a song that has become very popular over the last 8 months. I remember the first time I heard this song; I was driving home from my then, girlfriend's house, now my beautiful wife. My first thought was "man this girlfriend of mine has me cut open bleeding love from my veins." I began searching for the lyrics for bleeding love. I was unable to find the lyrics for bleeding love at the time because it was so brand new. It seems just over the last 3 months the song has received much more air time than 8 months ago. I was sitting down today and I heard bleed love again. The lyrics for bleeding love were pumping through my veins and I really just get into the song each time I hear it. I began looking for the lyrics for bleeding love once again. I found that not only does Leona Lewis sing this song but Jesse McCartney sings bleeding love also. Not only does Jesse McCartney sing it, he wrote the lyrics for bleeding love. I have to admit though; I believe Leona Lewis has Jesse McCartney beat. I mean the lyrics for bleeding love were just made for Leona Lewis. Jesse McCartney wrote a beautiful song and he is a great singer himself. But the lyrics for bleeding love belong to Leona Lewis.

When Jesse McCartney sings these song it doesn't seem lke his style and it almost seems as if the lyrics for bleeding love are being sang by an American Idol contestant that is about to be kicked off. Not to mention the instrumental he sings to seems more like a video game theme song than the Leona Lewis version of bleeding love. Not that Jesse's version is a total wash, I mean I am willing to bet if he had been the only one to sing the lyrics for bleeding love it still would have been a hit.

Clearly this song was meant for Leona Lewis and she nails it perfectly. She has got this Whitney Houston singing thing going on. Leona Lewis is going to be around a long time and already has another hit called "Better in Time". That is all Leona Lewis going to do, is just get better with time. Sorry Jesse, you wrote may have wrote the lyrics for bleeding love, but the song belongs to Leona Lewis.
