Ultimately there are two ways of getting ahead in life, and certainly this is also true in the Adsense business:

1) Do the legwork, and the research, yourself, or

2) skip about a year of research and work, and get some paid advice.

Now I personally do not have any paid advice to give.

However, there are certain people out there who claim to make obscene amounts of money using Adsense...

Now, my rationale is this: if someone claims to make 1000 dollars a day using Adsense, then probably the advice they have to give, allowing for hype, could bring in a couple of hundred dollars a day.

Now, if we take the year to have 300 days in it (which I understand is false! ), then 300 days per year x $200 = $60,000 .

Let's say that, (again ignoring the fact that there are MORE than 300 days in a year ), we are skeptics, and we only think that someone claiming to make a thousand dollars a day using Adsense can only offer advice that will bring in 150 dollars a day. So, in that case, 300 days x $150 = $45,000.

Now let's think about this. 45000 dollars for working at home, or somewhere else, on a laptop.

This is why I think these products might be worth their salt. At least, if "gurus" like Michael Cheney or Joel Comm, for example, claim to have made a quarter of a million dollars using Adsense, then I could make 150 to 200 dollars a day.

200 dollars a day, seven days a week, it adds up.

Even if it is only 175 to 180 dollars a day, still over seven days, or over a thirty day month let's say, this is still over 4000 dollars a month (even based on my $150 per day example).

In the end I suspect that the Adsense gurus put in hours upon hours of work to find the strategies they did. There is no reason each of us interested in making money with Adsense could not do the same.

I can certainly personally attest that I spend hours upon hours researching online moneymaking strategies, some days 12 hours per day or more.

But I only started doing this recently. Before that I would dabble here, dabble there.

BUT THIS IS NOT GOING TO WORK. Why? Because every field in life involved a large investment of time at the outset before you hit a plateau where you see return coming for your research time put in.

How many areas of life is this true for? So many!

I can remember when I was studying philosophy -- for about a year it all seemed like GOBBLEDYGOOK. But now I have a firm grasp of the concepts, and can even teach others some of the ideas that made no sense to me BEFORE I WENT THROUGH THE PAINFUL LEARNING CURVE.

On the other hand, perhaps occasionally it is worth taking a short cut.

Ultimately the decision rests on how much spare time we have, and how much inclination we display to wading through the mountain of advice that is there for us in cyberspace.
