An exaggeration? Well a lot of men do think about sex regularly, and there are many variations on this idea. Ranging from men thinking about sex every 7 seconds, 15 seconds, 3 minutes, all following the same randy belief.

So just how randy are the men in this world? And if it is true how much more astonishing does it make any of the great thinkers of our time, da Vinci, Einstein etc... To think these men accomplished anything while constantly bombarded with sexual thoughts is remarkable, let alone ideas of such importance and grandeur.

This belief has been around for so long partly due to it being hard to disprove, as identifying how often the average man actually thinks about sex is a sticky procedure. Who better to turn to than the definitive source of human sexual occurrences than the Kinsey Report, Sexual Behaviour in the Human Male.

As reported in the FAQ section of the Kinsey Institute’s Web site, when men were asked. “How often do you think about sex”. It was broken down as follows:

54% Think about sex everyday, or several times a day.
43% Think about sex a few times a month, or a few times a week.
4 % Had thoughts of sex cross their mind less then once a month.

Now compare these results to the idea of every 15 seconds, or thereabouts, and they don’t even come close to corresponding.

What about woman? Well from my perspective the results are quite disappointing...

19% Think about sex everyday.
67% Think about sex a few times a month.
17% Had thoughts of sex cross their mind less then once a month.

Interestingly, in another study it was found that those thinking about sex the most also have the most active and healthy sex lives, no sad sex deprived people here!

So with that in mind any ladies wanting to increase there frequency of sexually thoughts need only ask for assistance, I’ll do what I can.
