The term schizophrenia has very wide range but it is chiefly divided into

1)SIMPLE SCHIZOPHRENIA : Gross neglet and ill treatment of children or of elderly relatives may be found to be due to an insidious simple schizophrenic illness.

2)CATATONIC SCHIZOPHRENIA : Refusal of food , soiling of clothes or bed with urine, active resistance to any request as to dress or to wash or to leave the bed.

3)PARANOID SCHIZOPHRENIA :      It shows normal behavior but on certain action shows abnormalty. Another type is is feeling that he/she is responsibile for all problems,a sort of illusion is that if he/she is going to married with president.

4)HEBEPHRENIC SCIZOPHRENIA :       Thought disorder is the leading symptom, disturbed thinking the vague and diffuse thinking of the hebephrenic makes him an aimless in real life and may produce a permenent state of dreaminess.

MEDICAL BACKGROUND OF THE DISEASE

1)DOPAMINE HYPOTHESIS :This is the most widely accepted biochemical explaination for the   positve symptoms of the acute schizophrenia the dopamine hypothesis states that schizophrenia results from excess dopamine activity in the mesolimbic system.

2)ABERRANT METHYLATION HYPOTHESIS :This states that symptoms results from methylation of amine neurtransmitters.

3)ENDORPHIN ABNORMALITY :Endorphin are brain peptides which binds with the perception of pain, which may be either increase or decrease in schizophrenics.

4)PROSTAGLANDIN ABNORMALITY :

HEBEPHRENIC SCHIZOPHRENIA :      This is the large group compriseing the  majority whose illness starts before the age of thirty. Tn insidious onset is typical especially if the illness strats between the age of fifteen and twenty five. There may at first be only a degree of difficulty of concentration in the mental efforts.

An apprentice engaged in manual work, examination prooves insurmountable obstacles or are only passes after attempts and with much help and cramming.

Change    of   teacher   or school, fear of severe  illness such   as cancer   or  tuberculosis or insanity.These peole are enable to concentrate on any reading, or to do any work unless they are supervised and directed at every step.They are attracted by pseudoscientific and pseudo philosophical ideas, consider themselves that they are cabable of great discoveries and inventions.

Thoughts may be put into patients head or withdrawn from his mind, he / she complains that his thoughts are broadcast to other people who know every thing he thinks, he has the time when thoughts are race through his mind as if under pressure.
