simple calculations

Commonly water is stored either in a cylindrical tank or in a

square tank. We can easily find out the capacity of any size

of tank, in litres. For eg. if you want to find out the capacity

of a square tank measuring 1m length, 1m breadth, 1m height,

first convert metre to cm. As the formula to find out the volume

of cube is lbh we can get answer as 1000,000 cc

1000 cc is 1 litre

Therefore above said cubic tank can hold 1000 litres.

By this same method we can easily calculate the capacity of

tanks in various sizes.
