MIDI Air Car
63The Air Car-The Future is Now
When I first heard that engineers had designed a car that runs on compressed air, I couldn't believe it. I thought it was some kind of joke or some sci-fi junkie's over extended imagination.
Well its true. MIDI has designed and made a functioning car propelled by compressed air.
The Air Car is the wider name for a number of models planned for production by MDI, including a 3-seat MiniCat due for 2008 and a 5-seat CityCat, among others. The engines of these Air Cars will either be dedicated compressed air engines-which release compressed air to activate the pistons-or dual fuel engines, using both compressed air and conventional gasoline. No matter which one, it's hard to disagree with the fact that compressed air is a clean, abundant, and inexpensive fuel source.

If you are interested to invest in the MDI company, my wife and I are willing to sell some of our shares of MDI. We support financially MDI since 1992 and hold then so 1 % of the capital.
After 16 years we decide to realise a part of our investment !
Our selling price will be less (market oblige) as the last transfers made by M Nègre himself (he held 2/3 of the capital). If you have a serious interest please write us : martinmarschner(at)hotmail.com
