Minka Kelly is an American actress born in Los Angeles on June 24, 1980, and it's really no surprise that she ended up in an industry in which entertaining others is the main purpose.

Probably it is because her father was a guitarist for Aerosmith, and her mother was a Las Vegas showgirl. It seems as if living the life of an entertainer was her destiny.

She began her career with small roles in various movies and shows, including the film State's Evidence, and a recurring-guest role on the TV program What I Like About You. She currently stars in the NBC series Friday Night Lights as Lyla Garrity.

She appeared in the flick The Kingdom in 2007 and dated John Mayer. As for 2008, the only project on deck for Minka Kelly is 500 Days of Summer.
