Gas Prices and Party Men : Are you a party person ?

PARTY MAN - In the early days of the USA, One of the worst insults the Founding Fathers could give someone was to refer to them as a PARTY MAN. To be a PARTY MAN meant you put the welfare of your political party above the interests of the country.

PLEASE VOTE - My first preference would be to advise you to learn about the candidates and then cast an educated vote. But to reflect the realities that exist and to encourage as many people to vote as possible I assert the FOLLOWING :

IF YOU LIKE THE WAY THINGS ARE, VOTE FOR THE PEOPLE WHO ARE ALREADY IN GOVERNMENT, IF YOU DON'T LIKE THE WAY THINGS ARE, VOTE FOR PERSONS NOT ALREADY IN GOVERNMENT. The people in government now and in the past are responsible for the way things are now, if you want change, vote for someone new. I am conservative and usually vote republican, but I do not like the way things are going. Do not get frustrated by the volume of hype and information. IF YOU LACK THE TIME TO STUDY EACH OF THE CANDIDATES THAT WANT TO REPRESENT YOU, JUST MAKE A LIST OF WHO YOUR CURRENT REPRESENTATIVES IS AND TAKE IT WITH YOU TO THE VOTING BOOTH. IF YOU LIKE THE WAY THINGS ARE, VOTE FOR THE CURRENT REPRESENTATIVES ON THE LIST YOU BROUGHT WITH YOU TO THE POLL; IF YOU DO NOT LIKE THE WAY THINGS ARE, VOTE FOR WHOEVER IS RUNNING AGAINST THE PERSON ON YOUR LIST. IT IS THAT SIMPLE! JUST VOTE!

Don Mashak asks Should the increased cost of gas due to the devaluation of US Dollar caused by Government Corruption and Political Patronage be discussed at the 2008 Minnesota Republican Convention?

If the US dollar had remained strong in the global economy, oil might be around $65 per barrel. However, oil is priced in dollars, and oil prices continue to rise. The impact of increased oil prices can not be ignored in the US economy, and, in turn, can further weaken the dollar.

PORK BARREL - LOBBYIST AND KICKBACKS FUELED BUDGET DEFICETS WHICH NOW, WE THE TAXPAYERS WILL BE PAYING FOR AT THE PUMPS.

For those of you who want to put slightly more effort in deciding whom to vote for, the past I have summarized my beliefs this way : If you think you can take care of yourself, vote Republican : If you think you need and want government helpt to make it through life, vote Democrat. (And yes, I realize the Republicans have not been acting like Republican in respect to this perspective, but short of a viable 3rd party, they most closely reflect my perspective on these issues.)

JUDGE OUR COURTS There has come a crisis of lawlessness within our judicial branch.

The Minnesota Legislature has enacted statutes (law), which are contrary to the Constitution of the State of Minnesota.

These statutes give power to the judicial branch that is excluded by article III Section 1 of the Constitution of the State of Minnesota.

Because of actions of the Minnesota Legislature giving the Judicial Branch unbridled power, the judges have been:

1) Taking "tips" and money

2) Falsifying transcripts

3) Removing evidence from the file

4) Writing orders that cannot be appealed

5) Ignoring the law and writing their own "new laws".

The obligation to resolve this crisis rests upon the elected officials and ultimately on the Citizens for whom the state of Minnesota was created, for government does not exist absent the consent of the people.
