Well, it has been six long years and there has been no sign of Daniel Mocombe, little boy lost. I guess his parents are still waiting for that little bit of hope that may come their way, waiting for this tragic event to be over. Why do these horrible events take place and what’s more, why do we let it happen?

I can see that there are people out there who are deranged psychopaths, but surely they must know that there is something terribly wrong with them, their makeup consisting of crazy thoughts that are all screwed up. There are a lot of perverted people in the world and it is up to THEM to seek help BEFORE they hurt someone or devastate some poor family for the rest of time. They must have some idea that what they are thinking is not normal and that by seeking help, it might help them to channel their ideas to other ways of life. Everyone has crazy thoughts and it doesn’t mean a thing. It’s when you act on them and bring them into reality with no thought of feelings for the person or the families whose lives are shattered by these dreadful crimes by someone WHO COULD HAVE PREVENTED THEIR ACTIONS BY SEEKING HELP.

There have been a lot of updates to Daniels disappearance with not a lot of concrete evidence to bring the investigation closer to a final result.

At one time in 2007, a woman rang Bruce and Denise Morcombe and said she wanted to come clean, that she was with the abductors and she knew where Daniels body could be found. The Morcombes went to the location to find a piece of red coloured cloth the same type and colour that Daniel was wearing but it was a cruel hoax. Daniel wasn’t there.

Another person of interest is a known pedophile DOUGLAS BRIAN JACKWAY who is in prison for the rape of a nine year old boy however this is an ongoing investigation and the police have been trying to explore every thing linked to JACKWAY in hope that they come across something that will lead them to where Daniel is. Jackways movements at the time of Daniels abduction were in the vicinity of the Sunshine coast and he had a blue commodore which was a likeness to the car seen on the highway when Daniel was abducted.

There are also the reports from prison inmates that they know where Daniel is buried but this is also under investigation.

I hope they find Daniels body so the Morcombe family can grieve in peace. They are wounded spiritually not knowing what happened to their little boy who shared their lives and while the police are doing everything to bring this about , they go through every day hoping that somehow Daniel may be still be alive .

If you know what happened that fateful afternoon and where Daniel is, you owe it to the Morcombe’s to let the Queensland police know as soon as possible. If you are a sadistic practical joker, please don’t ring and let the police get on with their work.
