What are the top reasons why most people fail?

-Your Friends and Family know you! They love you, but may think you are a little crazy if you think you have stumbled upon the next microsoft. It is hard for them to see you as anybody other than the person you used to be. This business along with any other business takes a tremendous amount of personal growth, to get rid of the old thinking patterns of scarcity and limits. Some of that Scarcity Mind Set has come from hanging with your friends and family in the first place. They say your income is determined by the average of your five closest friends.

-Timing. Your Friends and Family might need a plan B more than anyone else. You can see it, they know it, but the timing just isn't right. The tragedy is, they may never do anything about it, even though you are handing them the golden brick of opportunity. Worse yet, they join somebody else's program. YUCK!! Doesn't that make you want to puke? Just know that it is not personal.

- Budget. In my opinion this is the single most common reason why most people fail in MLM. Once you figure out that most of your friends are not looking for you opportunity, you have to figure out creative ways to market to the world. It is a very common mistake to join a company because they have a cool website and of course everyone will be impressed by that. I made that mistake. Guess what? The single most important skill in your business is marketing. You have to MARKET to get people to that website.

- The "5 Percenter Rule". Most people do not think like you. Most people do not have the true entrepreneurial spirit it takes to endure the failures, the growth, the success. A "5 perncenter" is a rare breed. Let me back up and explain what I mean by a "5 percenter"

5 percent of the people control most of the wealth. Most people believe (usually the other 95percenters) that the 5 percenters have all that wealth because they inherited it. That is simply not true. Most of the 5 percenters have taken the risk to start their business and taken responsibility for their financial future.

My first experience with network marketing was with a company called StarTronix. I was fresh out of college and I answered and ad in the newspaper. Startronix was a company that sold laptops that could connect to the internet and it had a credit card swipe to allow you to buy things off the internet. I laugh now, but you have to understand the internet just became a buzz word. We forget that just 15 years ago nobody had cell phones or the internet. Very few people had computers. The company went under, and of course I asked a ton of friends and family to join me. I got burned. I learned about network marketing and understood that a guy like me would never have access to enough funds to buy a traditional business. I have no regrets with any of my failures. The fact that I kept looking has led me to true internet marketing techniques that I can use to put any business on autopilot and actually enjoy my life.
