MLM Training- The Three Things I Learned from My Dad for Success
45Wisdom beyond words.
I am writing this with a heavy heart, as my dad passed away
this past tuesday and we are getting ready to head to the
funeral in VA today. Seems that reality-and-mortality can
catch up with you. It is amazing that even during this ordeal,
I have had a peace and was able to do 2 webinar sessions
this week and also a TV shoot.
I guess that is what Dad would have wanted-as he always said-
"Keep going-even if you cannot do it in your own strength-keep going."
So I shall.
Having a home business makes it easy to be able to go when you need to-and
have had one for 23 years. Of course now we have staff and the like-but still we get to work a lot from home.
So sometimes life can hand you a situation you must go through-whether business or family- and you go though it.
But as dad always said- "When life gives you lemons-make lemonade-and set up a stand."
Three things I learned from dad-
1) "Always walk in integrity son, as that is the foundation of who you are."
This was his success advice. He loved the fact that integrity was not an option in his life. It was a requirement.
2) "No matter what-Belief in yourself can crush any Obstacle that comes before you."
People are going to say negative things. People are going to try and discourage you.
It is all part of success. Believe in YOU and never listen to nay sayers.
Their life is negative and you do not need that as a part of yours.
3) "God is always right-no matter what. He can see around corners - Trust Him."
Well--enough said here. Cannot argue with that wisdom-nor should you ever try.
I learned a lot from him and he was my hero.
I will miss him.

Doug,
Thank you for sharing. Sorry to hear of your dad's passing, but I'm sure you will see him again. Love this that you've learned "God is always right-no matter what. He can see around corners - Trust Him." I rely on that a lot. Bless you and we will keep you in our prayer. ~ eddie
