MLM Network Marketing Companies Not A Scam

Most people will become a distributor in a network marketing company because of the claims of extra income, time freedom, tax advantages and benefits of the products. You hear the superstar distributors talking about the checks that they receive and of course you believe that you can do the same thing in a short period of time. Most mlm companies have a small if not free sign-up fee that can help you make up your mind about becoming a new distributor. As a new distributor you are excited about your new business and the products are just phenomenal.

MLM, network marketing companies do not scam people but people come to the business opportunity without understanding or really believing that they own a business. You should understand that the sign-up fee of $29, $49, $69 or even if it is free, is the same as the fee that you would pay for a Subway or McDonalds franchise. The training materials should be studied just as if you were going to Hamburger U. You need to develop a business plan that fits your goals and leverages your network marketing company systems.

You do not have to think that you need to come home every night to make calls for 2 hours and get no where fast. With the internet and email you may not ever need to call someone you do not know. These tools can introduce you, the products, and business opportunity to someone who has the same wants and desires as you, long before you call them on the phone or they call you! What I want you to remember is that there is some work to be done for your business, because you will run out of friends and family. So, when you hear that network marketing magnet telling you about his/her $5000 week check please remember this, that he/she approached the mlm business model as just that a business. They have a business plan with goals and deadlines and so should you.

If you are unwilling to see that mlm, network marketing, or owning a home business needs a business plan, PLEASE do not become a distributor with any company. If you like the products then become a customer and study the benefits of the products while you develop a business plan to help you earn $100 a month before you see yourself earning $20000 a month!
