I use to always wonder what the real purpose of routines in the workout room are. You already have so many options.. why do the same things over and over again? Than I realized what a stupid question that was! Tallent is absolutely built on routines! Sure you mix things up in the gym to keep your muscles guessing and your body sharp, but routines are really where it's at!.. for me at least.

One of the first MMA training gyms I walked into was after hours.. I asked the trainer what it was like for these guys to learn fight technique. He pointed to the guys in the corner who were finishing up their training. He said, it's a lot like...the guys in the corner were drilling basic armbars from the gaurd. I spoke to the trainer for twenty minutes and those guys just did the same thing over and over again! I later learned there is great bennefit to that kind of routine.
