MOSES AND ANGER

Many people justify their doubt about the Bible’s claim that it was only people who wrote the Bible. And they did.

Please do not be upset with me, I am writing something negative about the greatest man ever lived, Moses. He was God’s favorite, but I would like to point this out in a positive manner. Despite the fact that we are not perfect God loves us and uses us for His goodness, purpose and glory.

God does not cast us out, unless we do it to ourselves. Actually we rob ourselves from the blessing He prepares for us.

One important point that I have found is that God cannot allow anyone to enter into His kingdom without faith. Certain things are unacceptable and they do not mix. Like water and oil do not mix, the same is that a life without faith cannot function properly.

Moses’ other problem was that he got angry, according to the record. He brought Israel the Ten Commandments written by God Himself. Moses came from Mount Sinai and he saw that Israel danced around the golden calf. This was unacceptable and an abomination to God. Moses got angry. Who wouldn’t?

He smashed the tablets, which turned to dust.

Then Moses had to write the Word of God himself.

The reason why God did not continue to write the Bible Himself is that when He did, we destroyed it. We changed His scripture written on the stones to dust. God will not repeat this unless He has to. The second reason God let us write the Bible is so that we would not worship the Book, but the only living God. It is faith, not evidence of it, which justifies us. He had faith that people will receive it and will be saved. He trusted us that we will write it His way and now is our turn to trust Him. The Holy Spirit will guide us into all the truth. This is one of His promises.

Then we have to look for goodness. We will look at the interesting scripture we treasure so much. It is a treasure of our family.

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think (meditate) on these things (Philippians 4:8).

Anger destroys peace. Anger is the thief of faith and patience.

I think moses just got angry because all the while he was thinking that the people he left when he was on that mountain would still be faithful to God but sinful people just make God out of a golden calf what do you think the best way to react? Peace

Of course peace. But both two events took place in different time frame.
