This was a very good movie.  At the beginning, it isn't obvious, but it turns out that the character played by Robin Williams is dead.  His wife commits suicide, and he goes to Hell to get her.  I loved this movie.

Well okay, this is a pretty romantic and awesome movie, too!  I cried.  And it brought back some pretty romantic memories of my own...

In this movie, Christopher Reeve plays a lovesick man madly in love with an old woman who died just after giving him an antique pocketwatch and asking him to "come back" to her. He saw a picture of her in her youth at the Grand Hotel (Mackinac Island, Michigan), and eventually is able to go through time and be with her temporarily.

It is a romantic movie, but sad, because he dies.

Okay, well this is pretty action packed, but I find it to be romantic.  It is definitely a superb movie!
