1st Lok Sabha Election was in 1951-52 period .At that time Kerala State wasn't formed,Travancore-Kochi was the state.At that time it has 12 Assembly seats.From 1957 ,when Kerala state formed it has 18 Assembly seats.In 1977 it raised to 19 and in 1977 it to 20 seats.Afterwards their is no change in Numbers.But in 2009 some changes are in name and its areas.

Out of above mentioned 20 seats 2 are allotted to SC/ST .They are Allathur and Mavelikara

 If you are Indian citizen and in age 25 and have Rs. 10,000/- can become MP candidate.Amount should be as Security Deposit.You should nominated by any registered political parties or at least 10 members from your constituency.If you got 1/6th votes of Total votes done in election you will get Security Deposit back.Every citizen who are in age 18 can be vote.
