Well, well, the Ev and Brooke duo continues to heat up as Ev admits that she's become very attached to Brooke which is pretty obvious by the foot massage she's giving her. Ev expresses her doubts however, that Brooke might just be using Ev to gain camera time on her first challenge. Brooke denies it, but tells Ev she would be perfect if she had a dick. "Ev is my baby," Brooke says but she doesn't want to give her unrealistic expectations.

The next challenge consists of an assembly line of teammates soaking clothes in the ocean, sending them down a clothes line, having them wrung out, and sent back up a clothes line back to the "runners" to soak them in the ocean again. The first team to have their wrung water to the bucket's fill line is the winner.

Brooke immediately volunteers to be a runner in an effort to prove herself, since she knows she can't be saved from tonight's Gauntlet. The team doesn't feel that uncoordinated Brooke should be a runner and Johanna in particular voices it. Brooke behaves like a big baby when the team decides she can't be a runner and a cat fight ensues between Johanna and Brooke who feels that Johanna doubts her abilities more than anyone else. No Brooke, she's just the only one who voices them! Melinda steps in and makes them both realize that they need to be concentrating on the challenge at stake and the team.

Despite their best efforts, the Veterans win yet another mission. Tyrie is especially upset over the loss since they were only 1/2 inch away from winning. The Vets deliberate, and since they can't save the same person twice, choose to save Tori. Knowing that the Rookies will put Brooke into the Gauntlet, they choose a player that they think Brooke might be able to beat based on size alone, Jillian.

The Rookies then begin their deliberation to decide who will go against Jillian in the Gauntlet. Brooke apologizes for her behavior before the mission in an uncharacteristic and candid moment. She admits that these challenges are difficult for her and that she was born "fearful" (i.e. Big baby) She says that she really does want to be there and that she can only continue to improve and do the best for the team. The Rookies still vote to put Brooke into the Gauntlet.

Brooke and Jillian's Gauntlet is "Ball Brawl" which makes Brooke happy because she is so much larger than Jillian, however she also hates "physical contact" so how does that really help? The object is to be the first player to reach a ball placed in the sand and move it into the end zone. Jillian, a rugby player, easily puts her ball into the end zone during the first round. According to Coral, "Brooke barely knows what day it is" let alone how to move a ball from one place to another. Jillians easily defeats Brooke in the next 2 rounds to win the Gauntlet. Jillian and Frank have now moved from "the most boring couple in America" - Tyler, to "America's perfect couple" - Evan. They are 3-0 in the Gauntlet.

Brooke now has to say goodbye to her team and to Ev. Their said embrace looks to Coral like the final scene fron Titanic, but she can't help but stop herself and ask again "Is Brooke even a real lesbian?" Nevertheless, Brooke believes that her relationship with Ev will continue after the show.

Back at the house, Frank feels great. Jillian is still there with him and some fat has been trimmed from the team. Ev, on the other hand, is livid and fired up. Some have questioned her ability to compete with Brooke gone, while others feel that her anger will only be fuel to her fire. After a few words with Evan, Ev drops down to release some anger by doing push-ups!

Later that night, the teams throw a group birthday party for Adam, Katie and Johnny Bananas. Johnny arrives with signature blow-up doll in hand.

Upon arriving to the party, Zach is carried in by Evan, CT and other Vets, tied to a chair, and has his full mop of curls shaved all off! Admitting his mom will be upset, Zach hopes that maybe this will bring good luck to his lacking team.

The next party scandal involves Bday boy Johnny Bananas and sweet little Casey who have been hooking up all Challenge-long. Thought they've been on challenges together before, there's never been the love connection between them, it must be her new boobs that she bought with her winnings from her third place finish in the Fresh Meat competition with Wes. Apparently Johnny Bananas and Casey are having some fun a closet when they are busted by Evan and company. Casey jumps naked out of a window to try to get away, but ends up being locked outside naked! What? Later Johnny carries her back through the window fully clothed...

Before the challenge the next morning, Tyrie learns that his girlfriend, Caroline is scheduled to have open heart surgery. She tells him to stay. What person doesn't go see their significant other when they are having surgery??

In this challenge, one person will be the eyes for the entire team as they have to manuever a maze blind folded. The team to get all of their players through the maze the fastest will win. With four less players, the Rookies team has an obvious advantage in this challenge. Both teams agree that a female should be the eyes and Coral and Johanna are chose for the Vets and Rookies respectively.

The 4 less players helps tremendously and the Rookies finally win their first mission. The Rookies head to their first deliberation to decide which member of the Vets team to send to the Gauntlet. Johanna tells the team that the Vets always go for their weaker players, which has only made the Vets stronger. Johanna suggests that they pick a strong player to try to weed out their tough, alpha males, like CT, Evan and Brad.

The Rookies eventually pick Adam to save from and Evan to send into the Gauntlet. There's a calm before the storm as the Vets then deliberate which teammate to put against the powerhouse, Evan. CT and Brad convince the team that Evan said he wanted to go against Johnny Bananas. Johnny tries to defend his place and the whole deliberation turns into one big shouting match "Bro!" Johnny is eventually chosen for the Gauntlet influenced by the fact that the team feels that it was Evan's decision. Johnny immediately confronts Evan after the deliberation and tells him to admit it if he called him out. Evan denies that he ever said Johnn'y name, but admits to the confessional that he might've done a little head flop in Johnny's direction.

Evan and Johnny spin the wheel and get "Sliders" as their Gauntlet challenge. Sliders is a puzzle where you have to slide tiles around eachother to complete the image. The Vets teams seems to help Evan a lot more than Johnny by shouting help to him about where to move slides. Evan ends up winning the Gauntlet, but admits, it left him with a bad taste in his mouth having to send Johnny Bananas home. Casey is sad that her and Johnny won't get to "make out" anymore, but she hopes that they will see each other after the show. Johnny also agrees that he's sad to leave his "munchkin" Casey and that she made the challenge that much more enjoyable for him...heh, I'll bet.

Soon after the Gauntlet, we learn that Tyrie has decided to go home in order to be with his girlfriend. Uh, good idea.... Tyrie leaves without barely saying goodbye to any of his teammates. So far the spoilers have been pretty accurate, let's see if MJ from Philly makes an appearance in Episode 4!
