Mack Michaels: Millionaire Genius or Scammer?
77Have you been "Guru'd to Death," too?
I don't know about you, but I've about had it with Gurus.
I'll say one thing -- they all know how to talk a good game (or maybe just hire great copywriters.)
I am sure you know the feeling ... it works something like this when you enter the website blazing with huge red headlines:
"I am NOT interested, I just want to look for a minute ...."
"Hmmm, this seems pretty cool!"
"Darn, they got my money!"
Of course, sometimes it is worth it, sometimes not. I remember the so-called training manual I bought once in a niche area that harldly anyone had written about. Some enterprising person (who, in writing at least, sounded like an uneducated 12 year old on crack) filled that void, and got me for 50 bucks.
Live and learn.
Ok, I learned a LITTLE bit, but not 50 bucks worth. And that is how I measure my spending. Not whether theoretically I could earn my money back (they ALL say that) .... but if I feel I can REALLY earn my money back, and then some.
I am less concerned with their Guru status, than whether the information is based in reality (no, I am NOT going to hire a herd of 10 year olds to go distribute flyers for me in parking lots and at the local school!), and if I can actually apply them with reasonable effort to create income.
Oh yeah ... and .. would I buy it again?
Mack Michaels: Guru, Scammer, or both?
I have gotten to where I judge people by what they do, rather than what they say, but I was intrigued enough ... and at the point in my own internet marketing development where I needed that "next step up" help. So I was very curious to get a read on just who Mack Michaels, the millionaire founder of Maverick Money Makers, really was, from INSIDE the program:
So here is my quick synopsis:
- He is not a scammer - he and his staff acatually respond to questions.
- He may be a guru - I'll let you decide
- He knows a LOT about internet marketing
- He invests his own sweat into the program rather than outsourcing it all ... the training videos, some of which run over an hour, are instruction personally recorded by Mack.
- In December '08, he added over 30 hours of new training videos to the club. With that kind of commitment, he can hardly be accused of "taking your money." Since it is a monthly membership club, Mack knows he will only keep members if value is provided.
- He over-provides.
- He sounds like he is about 15 years old, but has a wife, kids, is a multi-millionaire, and has made more money than I can dream of. I'll put up with the squeaky voice.
I have written a full review on Maverick Money Makers here, and you can refer to it to get an inside peek at the program. Yes, they got my money, but this time I am hanging onto my membership in the private "wealth club" with both hands.
They can't have it back ... and yes, I WOULD buy it again.
See you there ....
NOTES: After 5 months inside Maverick Money Makers, I have seen great videos continued to be added each month .. on average, 12-15 hours of new training each month.
April '09 was particularly strong, with three new "strategy videos" to help you select the right business path, based on your skills and interests.
And for all of those conspiracy theorists out there, Mack Michaels also added live phone support inside the club so you can get your questions answered almost anytime.
Mack Michaels: Older than he sounds

Sharolyn, thanks for dropping by. Of all the programs I have joined hrough the years, Maverick Moneymakers is by far the most "heads up." and legit. It is NOT a get rich quick scheme, though some powerful methods are taught. It is for entrepreneurs who want to learn to be successful from a millionaire who has been there. I have made great money using his techniques. People are joining through me everyday. I have just added a bonus to my page because of my success.
I have just recently started watching Macs tutorials. I am impressed with his videos that are provided for FREE to help someone like myself that just can't afford to join his club until some real $$$$$ comes in. I hope this works! There
have several other MLMs and pyramids groups wanting me to join, however, I have yet to be impressed with they offer compared to MaverickMoneyMakers. We'll see.
I will let you posr an update. Hopefully soon.
Tom
Thanks Tom ... there IS an update coming to reflect the positive changes in Maverick MOney Makers in January '09.
What's the Backend, hidden cost ect.ect.
Jerry
Thanks for stopping by.
There is a VIP backend that is about $49 where you can get some personal mentoring, but they definitely don't bend you over a barrel to upgrade. There if you want it, don't, no biggie .... that doesn't keep you away from the majority of the information. Many programs, if you don;t get the uprade, you really don;t have very much, and Maverick Money Makers is not structured like that at all.
Other than that, there is no other money-grabbing .... they are already charging a fair price for some VERY high quality training ... all you have to do is look at the free videos on the front page to see just how good the information is, but in substance and quality.
I suppose if someone has a "everything's a scam" mindset, then nothing is the right thing ... and Maverick Money Makers is enough of an investment that it is not well-suited for people who aren't going to invest the time in watching the detailed videos, taking notes, and applying the techniques.
Pretty basic, I think .... pay your monthly fee, watch the latest videos (usually at least 10-20 hours of training per month) and start using the ones that match your style or niches.
BTW, there was a complete website overhaul in January .... the video presentation is even better now (and it was already good) ... can even download podcast or audio only versions to take on the road for "anytime" learning ....
I here different sides of the spectrum about MMM. I noticed on the testimonial videos that nobody mentioned that they have made money yet. IS ANYONE MAKING MONEY?
Hi all,
Well, call me a sucker or whatever, but after checking out several work-from-home online opportunities and discovering most are scams, I am seriously considering MMM. Mostly because I am convinced of Mack's honesty through the videos on his promotion page. Much more than anything else I've run across. However I do have one question. He advertises a 60-day 'Make money or its free' guaratee by which you can request a full refund of they money you've paid over the past 2 months. However, what if you simply want to quit after one month? Or after 3, 4, or whatever. I noted from one of his videos that the monthly fee is recurring from ClickBank. However nowhere is it mentioned how or if that can be cancelled. Does anyone have any information on that? If membership cancellation is indeed possible, then I think I'm going for it. Thanks in advance for any / all replies!
Keith,
Thanks for your question, and it is a fair one.
Clickbank processes all the payments, and they have an ironfisted 60 day money back requirement. No reputable merchant is going to mess with that and risk being banned. You would have no problem getting your money back after 30-45 days ....
Also, I also make purchases through Paypal, and you can stop a recurring payment at any instant in your own account panel.
Click, and they are done.
So you have all the protection you need to check things out from the inside.
I think you will find it very high quality.
Marc
Hi, as i can barely afford that membership fee, but would rather it at $97 than any higher, i want to know what other money will be needed, as i know all the advertising such as google adwords is not free, but if there is any of the initial ways to market that are free or dirt cheap.
As i am willing to pay the $97, but if i cant afford to market anything, im at a bit of a fix?
Can anyone advise me who is in the club?
Thanks
I am in the same boat as Lewis! Any info would be greatly appreciated! I am about to lose my house and need to make $$ fast - is this possible with this program?
Hey Karen, perhaps you can go the free classified route or look for free advertising...I'm not a member yet, but this is probably covered in the tutorials.

Does Mack provide enough information for Canadians to succeed or is it American exclusive?
Hi
If you don't have the money to begin with a monthyl payment scroll down to the bottom of the page and he has a video about joining his affiliate program. It is free.
He gives you resources to begin placing ads on free sites (like Craigslist) and begin building your business. All you need is 2 people to sign up as members and you will have your monthly fee covered.
I hope this helps.
great. Im gonna BUy
to all the peaple who can read this,
do you think making much real money is too easy by online or offline working?
then didn't you wonder who will loose the money that this program's users would claim.
I really want to believe all of this, but I don't know ...
Can some one give this Mack Michaels's email adress
thanks
Can some one give me this Mack Michaels's email adress
thanks
Tunisia, There are many like you ...and they don'tmake any money. You have to get in the game(which program is up to you)....educate yourself, try, fail, persevere, eventually succeed. There is no magic.
Realist, You can Google his blog... Maverick Money Makers has 1000's of members ... frankly, he doesn't have time to answer random emails. He would never get anything done.
The prograam is real, the education is good, it works for people who work IT ...
I would like to hear from someone in Australia who is making money from this business. Can you pay from PAYPAL and have your earnings deposited in PAYPAL? What are the ongoing costs after the joining and monthly fees are paid? I presume the $97 is in US currency, what would this be in AUD?
Judith,
You can pay through PayPal, earnings are deposited in Clickbank if you become an affiliate.
No ongoing costs required beyond monthly membership, other than whatever types of advertising you decide to do as you use the various methods ... but he shows a variety of ways to profit low and no cost.
Marc
Hi Again - just in relation to Wendy's comments about making 2 sales a month and your membership is covered. You have to remember that you are purchasing this membership thru Clickbank and they have specific rules about when you will get paid. So you can make 2 sales a month and not be guaranteed to get paid.
This is their ruling which states you must meet their distribution requirements before you get paid anything :
"ClickBank will withhold payment of any account balance until the following criteria is met:
Sales made with 5 or more different credit card numbers; and, Sales made with two different payment methods (either Visa, MasterCard, or PayPal). Note: PayPal purchases do not count toward the minimum 5 different credit card numbers.
This requirement is in place to help prevent Affiliates from abusing the ClickBank Affiliate program by using their accounts for the sole purpose of fraudulently collecting rebates and/or discounts on their own purchases.
Once you have met the Customer Distribution Requirement, your account will begin issuing payments normally, in accordance with our Accounting Policy, beginning on the next payment issuing date. "
So you can make 20 sales in one day and still not be guaranteed payment until you meet the above requirements - so it could be a while b4 you get paid- this goes for any product too, not just MMM - but any product you market from CLickBank.
Hi I'm curious to know if anyone in NZ has succeeded in this business so far. Is it at all possible or am I wasting my time and money. As I'm seriuously considering giving this a crack.. as I've researched alot of online businesses trying to find the right one and this does look and sound like the best one I have come across so far... I'm actually really impressed to be honest..
hi marcmacy, can you comment on whether or not this system works in other countries then the U.S.? As there are a few curious non-american people wondering. thank you
Hello...Well, I'm seriously thinking of joining due to the fact, (this may sound cheezy but...), I get a real good vibe from the guy, well his voice anyways, on the site videos, lol... I just had questions as to whether this is all current...I mean, the dates on the "proof" video is 6-7 were months old and today is May 31st 2009. Another question is how come he didn't have a pic of himself on the videos yet his wife and daughter were there...not really THAT much of a big deal for me but lets face it...If I'm going to drop $97.00 dollars for anything I'd at least like to have an image of what "it" or "they" look like...Also, I've been getting emails from a seemingly other "guru" also charging $97.00 for his program: www.mysterymillionare.com I think is the site. Anyhoo, I just hope the amounts are just similar by coincidence and not that they're standard "scam" prices because $97.00 for me thrown away would render me NEARLY HOMELESS, lol...thanks to any and all replys...
sorry, that was my post earlier, forgot name, lol...Oh, and what I meant as far as the dates was that the "proof" vid had October 08 dates on them which aren't that far back but then that's about how long scam companies last anyways right??! I mean before the general public catches on...Not saying this is or anything, just stating what I'm feeling...my fault, no negativity intended...Anyhow, with all my skepticism, knowing me, I have just as much "risk-it-cism" too. I remember a saying that's been floating around since Einstein and that someone of authority once repeated to me that, "It's not often the smart that get ahead in life but rather the bold...", and I repeat this to myself nearly every time I'm about try something new and "too good to be true", lol... Now grant it that 8-9 times out of 10 I get SCREWED the 1-2 times I don't usually outwieghs the bad...And so, with that typed, Mr. Michaels, I'm here hoping that this little eneavor of mine lands somewhere within the positive because if, well, I guess I'll just chalk it up to just another "live and learn" lesson to take home...thanks again.
I have a doubt about this picture I see everywhere except Mack's website.
I first saw this picture on a blog (where people were fighting each other if MMM is a scam or not). And the owner of that review blog, even got a video about Mack and presenting this picture like it was Mack itself.
But can anyone be sure about that is Mack Michaels or not? I bet you cant tell. In fact, before deciding to give MMM a go, I contacted their support and told about the "problem" blog which was saying MMM is a scam.
The response came promply as a question: "Who is that guy pretendint to know Mack? Does he meet him? Are they even live in the same country?"
So I guess that image is nothing else but a picture of an unknown guy (possible found on google image) which sole intend was to "animate" a webpage which made a review on MMM.
Can someone PROVE I'm wrong? Hard. I mean how could you? Do you know Mack in person? Thought so.
Now, the worst part is that a lot of affiliates got that image and "identified" Mack as the guy in the picture. But I highly doubt it.
If it were, don't you think that image should appear on the official website?
Thanks,
Marc, I am an affiliate of MM... though I joined 75 affiliate programs at least. I think if you've been in the membership site for 5 months then the test of MM is ... are you significantly richer? How long should it take? BTW this month I'm focusing on Russell Brunson's program and it is heating up there nicely. Geoff D.
I am a member of Maverick money makers and I'm already selling some stuff (as learned) on eBay. What can I say... I am quite happy with the program (even if some info there won't work anymore).
I get arround $45-$50 a day selling stuff on eBay thanks to Mack Michaels club.
Great article and very informative comments. Thanks
Johnyboy
Would you say you're glad you joined? How long has it been?
I haven't seen any reviews about actual member experiences. I wonder why. Any comments?
Stan this is the 3rd month ending. And I must say I followed some of the blueprints (two of them) and I am pretty amazed how it worked for me so far. Of course I am continuing to improve. I am always open to some other tactics, but Maverick money makers has worked some wonders for me. I decided to dedicate a blog to this program and am already ranking it high. Also if you search for the broad term maverick money makers I am first in google. That's another benefit I got from Mack. Orhan, you haven't seen reviews? You really must be blind. I worked my but out to get in front of google because of the high competition. And you say there are no reviews? Pay me a visit on my blog and read one.
Well the problem with people like you is that you are to lazy. You didn't even visited my hub and maybe post there a comment and yet you expect more? It is pretty obvious for me why you haven't seen any reviews yet. (no mater what kind of reviews). :P
I am a real estate investor. The foreclosure investment side of course. My industry requires me to know marketing and know it good. I've been refining my Web 2.0 and social networking approach for 2 years. Out of all the gurus if you will, I've come accross, Mack and his products seem legit. He's done most of the hard work for you by providing the product to sell. Then he even tells you where to market that product and how to market it. Its a no brainer. Have all faith in Mack!
Has anyone realy made some money over 40 or 50 dollars a day, with the Mack program? If so come forth and tell me. Cause the Mack program sounds like he's making all the money. Be careful with Craigslist, your PC will have spyware, adware, from going on Craigslist. I know, because it happened to me..........
can anyone tell me if there is a good network marketing outb there to jion thanks jerry bland
Hi. I have used Maverick Money Makers to help me achieve a five figure monthly income. I have just done a full insider review here: http://www.ratracewinner.com/maverick-money-makers
Hope it helps anyone thinking of becoming a member.
hey Jerry Bland,
I'm in several good MLM's.
Send me an email at kotchke@gmail.com and I'll fill you in.
Philad
This all sounds fine - but has anyone made any actual money. That is the bottom line...be true full please.
At http://201art.com I work with other companies and provide to work with them using affilate programs that actually work - google is another good income that works.
Now - this part is important - you do not get rich fast and you bring in on the average of $500.00 to $1000.00 a month.
So - what happens is that it grows slowly. And the money is real hard cash... any questions? contact me at info@201art.com - I will love to help those that seriously want an income with the real cash.
thank you,
bari
Great hubpage. very informative review of Maverick Money Makers. I use to generate a good income.. Read http://www.generate-wealth.co.uk for more info.
I have the same question as others have----WHO out there has made BIG money with MMM?? Most anyone can make $40-50 from ebay. Do not need to pay $97.00 a month to do that. But must admit 99% of what I have read has been positive about MMM. "old saying" get back what you put in. So I guess if you really put the time in you could make some real money.
Hi Jerry Bland,
You may want to check this MLM opportunity.
It is certainly a good one. The market is massive as it is about video by e-mail.
You can reach me at unisson at unisson dot com.
Take care,
Phil
I saw one of Mack's ad's on a "Cash4offers" paid email site for a "Cell phone cash offer" that he charges $25 a month for. So, I clicked on the video, and some of the first statistics are that he's paid out 2,300,000 to his 13,000 active students in the first 7 months of 2009. Looks like an impressive statistic right? Well, I did the math: 2.3 million / 13,000 = just shy of $177. Now, divide that 177 / by 7 months = about $25! Bwhahahahaha. So, on average, an individual "student" is just making back their monthly fee. Meanwhile, he's pocketing all those profits. At least he's honest with his statistics. I may do a little more research, but based on this, I don't think I'll be joining.
I am afraid you are correct. The math is the first thing I did.
The First Presidential Candidate Speaks Out………..
George R. Budinger - On The Growing Unemployment Figures.
New monthly figures released Friday by the US Labor Department show a slight rise in unemployment to 9.8 percent. Some analysts predict it will keep growing . GRB Say’s, ya think!
George R. Budinger For President 2012 Asks, what are the true unemployment numbers? This 9.8% dose not include all of the people that have run out of unemployment benefits. GRB estimates the actual real unemployment in the United States could be 20 to 30 + percent! So now, we are in a REAL emergency crisis! What to do now, and GRB means now. GRB is in favor of viable health care reform. Of course, the American people. Need to be protected from, insurance companies corporate greed. GRB is in favor, of regulations and cost protections and limits and much more. However, passing a Health care bill now is not going to do much for the unemployment rate. What Americans need, is access to viable capital to start businesses. The government, has had some loan programs backed by the SBA. However, a person/small business has to be credit worthy. Plus, they have to invest a large portion as a down payment. In order to secure the loan. The SBA, also gives money to some organizations to do micro loans. But they are mostly very small loans and you have to have a good credit score.
It seems, as though the USA has been going through a recession for the last 10 years. Now, we have tons of people with credit issues. In this emergency situation, GRB would and recommends that the USA government. Immediately, make direct loans available to start ups and look at small businesses in trouble. Now, this program would have to be very heavily watched and monitored more so, than regulated. This could be done through the SCORE programs. This would finally give SCORE the ability to provide quality loans and real assistance. This program, should only be run by professional retired business people or current successful business people. GRB thinks, this needs to be done now and this type of program should of been available long ago. However, with the current people in government. This program could end up being a disaster. The loans need to be very viable. Not like government spending, businesses need to run lean and mean. GRB would focus more on the business plan than the applicants credit score. Businesses need to be profitable, so common sense and planning must be exact. If you want a business to be around a while. You need to start off small, then build from there. The way you do this, is by professional purchasing used items when ever possible for one. Then once the business is flush with cash. Then they can proceed with some new purchases if desired. GRB stresses that this type of a program must be watched and monitored very carefully. Please remember this is not George R. Budinger’s administration. So if things go south, please do not blame GRB. Also, if this program is administered anything like TARP and the auto bail out programs. This program will be over before it starts!

oooops! the link is here http://www.jointalkfusion.com/1550744
enjoy!
I was about to join this program the other night and got sucked into Myprofitsite instead. Big mistake, My profitsite also made the 60 day refund claim, even gave the guru's address and said stop by his offices etc. It was only $19.95 to join and since I am also broke, I went the cheaper way. Big mistake, I paid my money and the site was fake and so were the e-mail addresses and street address. I had to cancel my debit card. Now I'm afraid to join any site!!! I found myprofit through a forum like this and found out it was all phony too. Is anyone real out there?? And did anyone really make money?? help.
Hi there,
I have joined another program four weeks ago.
I was looking at this program to expand my marketing and I found this blog.
I have not found one person that has made at least $5,000 in one week yet.
I have received over $14,000 with my program.
Is nor $50,000 or $60,000 a month, but at least my mortgage its really paid this month.
Please let me know if this cellphonecash its a good tool to market and reach people or another system to generate money;
Because if it is I dont need another preogram I love mine.
Thanks Alex

I have not purchased YET, however I am seriously considering it because he gives you a step by step tutorial. What is there to lose? Just apply what he is teaching. If it works for him then it should work for me. I'm willing to give it a try. I have tryed all of the other programs SEPERATELY and it I left them alone because I did not have any helpl. This way...I'll have the videos to go back and replay them.
