Help Find Maddie Missing 1 Year
Madeleine McCann A Year On
On the 4th of May 2007, Madeleine McCann was abducted from her hotel room in the Algarve, it is almost one year to the day that little Madeleine disappeared and the Portugese police seem no nearer than they were at the beginning to finding the little girl alive or to finding the person who took her from the Hotel on that fateful day.
Madeleine's disappearance sparked outrage around the world there was an unprecedented media presence who kept the world informed of the daily updates in the case, Robert Murat, was arrested and quickly became the prime suspect, but to date no hard evidence has been found that can link him to the abduction.
Madeleine's Parents Kate and Gerry McCann, have been through hell on earth, blame was focused on them, they were slated for leaving Madeleine and their other children in the room alone whilst they went out to dinner, they have been accused of giving their children sedatives to make them sleep so that they could go out and there were claims that DNA belonging to Madeleine was found in a car that they had hired earlier in their vacation.
They were also made prime suspects in Madeleine's abduction.
The people of the world were outraged with Maddie's disappearance and the McCann family were inundated with letters, email, and phone calls from well wishers all over the world, who were praying for the safe return of their little girl, world leaders, politicians and even the pope added to the massive support the likes of which the world had never seen before.
People became vigilant, double-checking out every little girl they passed on the street, just in case it was her.
The Internet provided even more publicity for Madeleine, blogs, websites, and chat rooms were set up to spread the word of the missing little girl.
One year later we are no closer to finding little Madeleine, the search continues but as every day passes hope fades of ever finding Madeleine alive.
The McCann's need to know what happened to their little girl, they need closure, alive or dead Madeleine needs to be found and of course whoever carried out the abduction needs to be caught, they cannot be allowed to tear apart another families dreams and hopes they cannot be allowed to take another little girl from their family.
I pray every day not just for the safe return of Madeleine but for the other parents of children who have disappeared.

Hi Guys, thanks for your comments, hopefully one day we will find out what happened to this little girl, closure no matter the outcome is needed.....jimmy
A page on my publish site is dedicated to Missing Children http://jazlive.com/missingchildren.aspx, a link to Maddy's parents blog is also on the same page.
The last news investigation I am aware of was a several of months ago, faintly recall there was mention of hair in a rental vehicle and some mentioning of dosing medication (?? cough syrup) to get the child to sleep.
I can not say how I would react, if any of my children were missing, I have one minor left at home; however, I am just as protective of my elder children [28 & 26 (in 16 days)] as if they were still newborns.
21 years ago, my soon to be 26 year old was with my mother, step-father, brother and her brother {7 yrs old at that time}; participating in a St. John's Parade, out-of-town.
The evening of them returning home, I visited my mom - ALL of the lights in the house was out at 8p and I could hear my step-father snoring. This was unusual for a Saturday evening; however, they had been out of town so I assumed they were exhausted and would not disturb them.
NOTE: My elder two children were also raised by my mom and step-father. They had been with my mother, since i separated from my first husband.
Early Sunday morning, I again visited my mom, this time they were up and about. My step-father shared that they had lost my daughter at the parade and found her in a church.
The explanation of how she was lost is as follows:
In the parade ALL abled bodies marched and disabled bodies rode, dressed in FULL REGALIA. A car-rider, in the parade offered Mom and my daughter a ride because it was noted that Mom was falling well-behind the marchers in close proximity of the car-riders. Mom allowed my daughter to ride with the "offeree" and continued to march with the abled body marchers.
My brother and step-father did not participate in the March, they were there to support Mom, my son and daughter in the march. At the end of the parade, ALL participators' were to meet at a church. Mom and my son returned to the car where my brother and step-father waited for them and they missed my daughter. They ALL panicked and Mom almost forgot, she allowed my daughter to ride with a car-rider, in the parade. They scurried to the church and Mom was on the was to find the pastor to make an announcement when she heard a voice among all the people [well over a couple of hundred] "Momma - Ms. Mae" repeatedly.
In the balcony was my daughter. Mom said she don't remember climbing any stairs; however, instantly she and my daughter was re-united.
I told my mother, that I had stopped by the evening before and knew something was not right for they were in the bed too early and my left foot had a nagging pain that began to diminish, while they were sharing the events of the previous day.
I didn't mean to write a mini-novel; however, I can not fathom how Maddy's parents cope from day to day.
I am going to share my story in an intel. Read my favorite intel: http://www.qassia.com/thank-you-stupidvisor
I prey Maddy is found soon.
I just hope that little Madeleine is safe, warm and not hungry. For the childs sake naturally she would be best off in her loving families arms...but until she's found I pray that she is with a kidnapper that just wanted to have their own child and stole her to love her and not harm her...(I guess this is looking for a sliver of good in a terrible painful situation)
my prayers are for Madeleine and her parents

Well the point is: Madelein McCann is missing, and she must be found! At all stages it looks like if the portugese police is and was only worried about the parents involvement in the case, and not to go out looking for Madelein! What the *** are they doing?? I've never heard and seen of such poor handling of missing cases! I really think that they must start to involve the Brittich and American investigators to help them with this case. I will never visit Portugal ever!
I hope and pray they find her either way my heart breaks for these parents ,theses countries gotta get a better handle on this its happening to much in our world their all of our children we need to stop this theses parents are right somebody somewhere knows something or somebody they have too my prayers are with the McCanns and all other parents with missing children
hy,I just hope, that you will find Madeline!
Good luck!

Hi Jimmy, your probably right about Portuguese police being far from resolving this case but I´m not so sure about her parents innocence :/ . As parent it is difficult to me to believe they could harm their own daughter even if it was an accident but we had seen similar things unfortunately almost every day. Even if they are guilty as charged I guess it will never be proven for sure :/ and I just hope that all the missing children out there can be found and taken to their parents, including Madeleine of course.
