The Magic Behind the Magic
If you've ever done any reading on paganism, then you know that spells are a big part of the practice. But what you may not know is that the magic... the "real magic", isn't so much from the spell itself as it is from you. Magic (or magick to use the proper spelling) is actually the art of focusing your energies and sending your desires out for the Universe to fulfill. Different traditions might recognize different Gods and Goddesses but these entities simply represent the various aspects that one might want to consult. The Lord and Lady for example, represent the masculine and feminine traits respectively. The Goddess Cerridwen represents fertility as well as transformation and change, so if you're wanting to get pregnant or start a new life, Cerridwen would be a good energy to draw upon.
And that's really what magick is - drawing upon the various energies available to us in order to assist and enhance our own endeavors.
Sounds a bit like the law of attraction, doesn't it?
So, for those of you with open-minds and empty pocketbooks, I thought you might enjoy some money spell casting basics. Got your cauldrons ready? Then let's get started :)
Its All in the Elements
In Pagan pantheons, different things correspond to different intentions. Fire for example represents creativity, strength and energy while air is tied to travel, new beginnings and intellectual endeavors.
Since our focus is on money, we're going to use Earthly correspondences, as Earth represents prosperity, money and growth.
Correspondences can come in the form of herbs, stones, colors and days of the week. To get the most from your spell, you'll want to choose correspondences that directly relate to your intention - in this case, a little extra cash flow. So, here's what we'll use for money spells:
- Stones and Crystals: Amber, Aventurine, Jade, Moss Agate, Peridot, Onyx
- Herbs: Honeysuckle, Mugwort, Patchouli, Almond, Cedar, Dill, Ginger and Mint
- Color: Green and Orange
- Days of the Week: Thursday and Sunday
Full Moon
The Lunar Influence
In addition to the various correspondences, it is believed that the Moon and her phases have strong influences of their own. The New Moon for example, is thought to enhance spells focusing on personal improvement, growth, career and any kind of "new beginning".
The Waxing Moon (between the New Moon and the Full Moon), represents healing magick and spells that focus on relationships.
The Full Moon enhances artistic endeavors, romance and fertility issues.
And finally, the Waning Moon (between the Full Moon and the New Moon) is for getting rid of the old. Use this time when you want to break bad habits or end addictions in your life.
For your money spell purposes, a New Moon is your best bet. Its also said that if you perform your spell directly beneath the moonlight, it will give your ritual a nice little boost.

Putting it All Together
Contrary to popular belief, spells don't have to be elaborate or fancy to be effective. In fact, they don't even have to rhyme. Even so, rhyming is half the fun so be creative when coming up with your chant.
Something as simple as
"Money, money in my hand, double, triple as fast as you can."
will do the trick. Or, if you're feeling especially creative, you could write an entire verse. Remember, the idea is to focus your energies, so the more effort you put into your spell, the more you're likely to get out of it.
Will money spells make a million dollars fall from the sky? No, it won't. But don't be surprised if you find a $20 on the street or receive a monetary gift that you didn't know was coming. Just be sure that your money spell is "for the good of all"... that is, it doesn't require harm to come to someone else in order to work. Spells like this have a way of backfiring - what you send out is what you get back - so make sure your vibes are on the up and up.

Hi, I believe that each of us has psychic abilities to one degree or another, but some people are able to summon these powers at will.
The one thing that must be emphasize when using spells and rites from Wicca Witchcraft or other Pagan paths is that one can not expect to light some incense, ramble off a few words, and see results.
Neopaganism is a form of live is not about magic to bring happiness to your live. Happiness comes from choosing a way of live that it is in communion with nature.
Very confusing can you please explain what is real Magick or if there is real Magick, black or white Magick ? What is the scientific reasoning of Magick.
Well, here's how I see magick: if you follow the thinking that we are all made up of energy and that we are all connected to the Universe, then our ability to manipulate and co-create with that energy is inherent. "Magick" is simply the process of focusing that energy to generate the results you're seeking. For example, you don't really "need" crystals and herbs and spells to manifest money in your life but the process of gathering the herbs and crystals and writing out the spell focuses your energy on what you want so that your intentions are clear and strong. I'm sure there are some who have a different definition of magick, but I've come to see it as a collaborative effort between me and the Universe, i.e., we are one and the same - not two separate entities. Thanks Kateivy, If according to you we are all made up of energy and that we are all connected to the Universe, then why crystals and herbs and spells to manifest money in our life. Money spell and others sounds easy money or love and so on. Just cast a spell and fix it all that sounds like bibdi babdi bu. I still didn't get the specific answers to my questions. Do you have any personal experience in Magick or spell casting. I also asked few questions from Arabella_jolie but i guess she don't have the answers.
I do have personal experience with magick and spell casting and no, its not just "cast a spell and fix it". I use magick as an extension of the spiritualistic ideal that we create our own reality. Kind of the "you get what you expect" theory. But what we desire can often differ from what we really expect and that's where the magick comes in. Different herbs and crystals have different magickal properties just as carrots are good for the eyes while cherries can reduce inflammation. Using these items isn't required to effect change in your life but the ritual process of gathering these correspondences and writing out your spell focuses your energy and intention in the direction that you want. Imagine for example if you wanted to manifest money in your life. Just saying "man, I need some money" but believing that you're broke isn't going to bring money your way because in reality, you "believe" that you don't have it. To manifest, you have to believe that your life is prosperous and abundant. You have to visualize having everything you need. Magick is simply a way of focusing that belief and sending it out into the Universe. This doesn't mean that you can cast a spell and a million dollars will suddenly just "appear" in your bank account - it doesn't work that way. But what does happen is that new opportunities come your way. Things begin to fall into place where you need them. And again, this is my personal belief and experience - I'm sure others have different opinions about how magick works for them. Does that help?

Also i want to know how to become phycic. My mum and my nan go to a spirtualist and are getting messages from the other side. Ever since my mum told me about it i can't stop thinking about it. The other day this figure from out of the blue came though the wall. I was not thinging about it so i don' think it was my imagination. I was scared at first then from out of the blue i felt calm . I have heard that good spirts make you fell good . It that true. How can i on my own get into contact with my dead grandad and other relitives. Also severreal other weird things have been happening like a peice of dust flowting accross the room , then i put my hand out and it came to it,( then i got a really deep feeling of happyness and love) . I think that was a relative.

Lauren, just because you are 13 doesn't mean that the spell will be affected. The truth is, is that if you remember that your intention is pure, without harming another, and focused than it will work.
Just read all the helpful post here again and you will understand.
As for seeing spirits and the dead, some people just have a gift, a talent to feel the pressence of spirits while awake and walking. Embrace that gift and I'm sure the signs you need will come to you.
I remember when I was first studying paganism and witchcraft. I didn't get it, because I was raised in a Christian house. I grabbed as many books as I could and continued to search for what I was looking for, until I realized that everything that I needed was inside of me. Magick is you, and you are magick just remember that.
Because you are so young you probably don't understand the Law of Attraction, so I'll leave you with this;
The Law of Attraction is: Attracting to your life whatever you give your attention focus and energy to whether wanted or unwanted.
Think about that, and then you will have a different idea of what Magick is all about!

But if your spell is for a good job, if you think of it, there's really no way of it being 'for the good of all.' After all, if I get the job, that means others won't. I guess all I can hope is that they get another good job which is better suited for them and that I'll be able to do some good in the job, which helps my new co-workers. I still have to try.
