And the member of the audience thinks that because they are so close to the magician that surely they can't be fooled . So with keen eyes the audience member focuses on the magic trick hoping to see something that may give the show away. Now giving the fact that the magician is excepting this from the audience member to look closely at his every move, his only option is to use sleight of hand.

A professional magician will master this method to the point where it looks natural with every move he makes, he does it in a way where every move he does with his hands is in a natural flowing motion. He will use a split second to distract the audience member so to perform his trick, it is really astounding the way they do it, and in this case the hand is quicker than the eye. The audience member is left amazed at what just happened, and leaves the stage wondering how the heck they did it, it is of course the magician using the sleight of hand technique.

When learning to do the sleight of hand technique ,you must make it look natural to the audience member ,you must learn to master every move before hand. There should not be any obvious jerking movements with your hands you should perform the trick deliberately and slowly and naturally as possible, so to give your audience no clue as to how it's done, otherwise if you do even one single movement out of place it can mean disaster.
