Stop Pitching Your Business, Yes I said it. Why should you stop Pitching Your Business? Because nobody cares. They care about making money. Duh! But the key is to find out why they need the extra money. I am going to say that again. Find out why they need the extra cash! Discover their ultimate goal in starting a home business and more often then not, you'll discover they're pain. And here's the key: Say that you may be able to help them depending on how motivated they are and eager they are to learn. Why? Because people have to earn the right to be on your team. They do not deserve it until they jump through a few hoops. Have you ever seen the Karate Kid. Daniel learned karate by doing chores. Same principle applies, they are learning from you how to approach people, by the way you approach them. I would let them go simply because a skeptic doesn't believe in him or herself or has been doing it wrong. But here is an interesting way to overcome some of this stigma is so say "You know what I am in complete agreement with you, this industry has gotten a bad wrap but I didn't let self-doubt hinder my goals and where I knew I wanted to be" "You may not be right for my team because I looking for hungry people that want to learn how to make money in this business without bother family and friends. Most people don't learn new ways of conducting business and still use ancient techniques and having lackluster results. Because this business is not really about selling it's about education and teaching and most importantly relationships. Too touchy feely? lol Ok. Its about trust and knowledge. You don't buy medicine without a label on it and the same principle applies in network marketing. This business is always a risk, heck its business, but people need to trust that you're not just out to get they're money and walk away. So.... how is that accomplished? By asking questions, find out if they're right for your business, find about their family, they're job, why they hate their job find common ground, give yourself to really making a new friend. Yes, you want a sale, but you want and leader who will learn from you how to make friends with other leaders. This is not direct sales. This network marketing, you have to network, but I digress.
Buying leads is cool too, because you have people that say hey I want to make money, but why should make money with you? Because you know more than they do about the industry and how they can achieve their goals within industry, but they want get that from the first initial phone call, heck they can't even remember you name. So you're going to have make yourself stand out. Be a bit quirky and find out about them.
When Attracting leads, you have to be
visible and you can't just waste their time, either so find complex
network marketing discussions, research them, and break it down to
layman's terms.
