Make A Hybrid
54Make A Hybrid Car
Make a hybrid car with new conversion technology.
Theory:
GM's hybrid motor is the alternator, and it flips from generating power to pushing the car. A computer is tapped into the brake pedal switch, which is taught to generate power with each brake(nice huh?) and the same with throttle (oh wow). So if there was a kit that you could just replace the alternator with a similar unit, and a computer that controls/programs the operation of the alternator/generator, it should work on almost any car. GM's motor is about 5 hp, where honda/nissan/toyota are about 40 hp I believe. In theory it still should provide gains on any car. Imagine converting your car into a hybrid that already gets 40 mpg! instead of guzzling your gas! Run your car on water now.
Extra Benefits:
The use of the system gives you access to certain IRS credits. Get money back from the I.R.S. for turning your vehicle green and helping the enviroment!
I thought it was Difficult & Costly?
Converting your car does not necessarily mean "difficult". The system consists of a few simple bolt-ons and some tubes. It does not modify your engine or the car's computer, when removed it is completely untraceable.
