Adding Links To Free Giveaways

I am focusing on how to make money blogging by giving away free ebooks but you can also use this with free software, or free membership sites.

It also doesn't only have to be ebooks. You could give away a special report, eGuide, a manifesto, whatever you like - it is a free pdf!

Giving away free ebooks means you either have to write them or you need to get hold of free ones that you can give away.

Once you have written your free ebook you simple add it to a number of free sites and allow people to download it. Inside that ebook will be

  1. A link to sign up to your list. See here for the importance of list bulding
  2. A link to sign up to buy a product that you have created
  3. A link to sign up for a membership site you own
  4. A link to buy an affiliate product

For each ebook you write and distribute you get the person reading it to take action

You Don't Have To Write It Yourself

If you don't like writing there are other things you can do:

PLR Products

The great news is you don’t have to write it. You can use a private label rights (plr) product, rename it and get a new graphic made then add your own opinions to it and check grammar/spelling. If you intend to give it away and put yourself down as the author this is recommended.

I have used PLR products that I give away and do not go through the bother of renaming/adding a new graphic – you need to decide what works with you. With those products I would never put my name down as the author but I add my blog name down instead “Distributed by Inspirational Guidance” and a link to my blog.

Using Articles

If you don’t want to write it yourself you can find 10 articles written by other people and put them together to create an ebook. With this option you will need to write to the authros to ask permission but who will say no!

to having their article distributed by someone else?

Of course you leave the bio/resource box intact with a link to their site but it saves you having to write anything. My first free giveaway was an internet marketing “cook book” with 7 other women – we all wrote an article about what it took to be successful online and I put it together and distributed it.

To earn an income you make sure the articles you use have a product to sell and join their affiliate program. Then you add your affiliate link or a banner/image (if they provide that as part of their affiliate resources) into the ebook on each article!

Writing Your Own eBook Or eGuide

If you want to be known as an authority in your niche you need to have the confidence in yourself and in your knowledge to write your own free ebook.

If you dont want to write it you can hire a ghost writer and give them the main points but this really is easy to do with a little practise.

Just believe in your ability to get your message across.

Viral ebooks

Something I am just getting into are viral ebooks. With a viral ebook you start your own membership site, write a free ebook and give anyone that has a copy of it an opportunity to brand it with their affiliate link.

If someone they give it away to reads it and joins your membership site that affiliate gets paid.

It is a really great way to make sure your free ebook is passed around.... a lot!

Thank you for such an interesting and enlightening hub. I'm off to check out the links and download some of your freebies. I'm just starting online in terms of business as I need to do something positive whilst waiting to be dismissed from the day job due to ill-health (or rather the possibility that I will be ill in the future!) Inspirational guidance sounds like a much needed boost.

Nice Hub. I spent half an hour searching for places to submit my ebooks before checking out Hubpages, your hub saved me a lot of time, and could have saved me more if I had thought to look here first.
