Contributors come from many different walks of life and this allows for interesting viewpoints from all sectors of the population.

While many of the hosts of blogs have created them to make money online blogging, their sites provide the general population a forum where they can openly express their opinions and discuss their concerns with others who may have a different perspective on the issues at hand.
The platform of a "blog" allows participants to get involved with other bloggers and discuss the subject of the day while allowing them to edit, change, and express their opinions more easily. Many portals and web pages have become less popular with internet users because of the availability and attraction of the blogging sites. With the election in the United States being one of the hottest topics on the internet, many blogs have popped up dealing with the issues that concern the population and people are letting their views be known. Not all blogs are political, of course, and those wishing to express themselves regarding other topics can find numerous sites where they can post their comments.

Valueable hub page! I am teaching my two daughters about blogging. Both of them want an allowance, but I would rather teach them to blog and begin earning $1 - $2 per day from their blog... and maybe a bit more over time. However, I'm limited in what I can show them, so your information on blogging is helpful for myself and them.

This is great info. I have two blogs which are getting traffic and remarkably intelligent and thoughtful comments - which of course I don't always agree with and am sometimes tempted to delete! Lol! However, I was looking for a way to make money from them so this is the Hubpage I was looking for.
